Hi All,

Yesterday I visited Toy Soldiers Museum in Belgium (near Liege) and thought some of you might be interested in some pictures.
The museum is operated by Jean-claude Druart and in display are figures from his own collection and the ones of some of his collectors friends.
The impressive display of figures includes plastics and metal of all size (with a majority of 54mm) and 6'' figures.
Jean-Claude is probably familiar to you if you have attended Toy Soldiers Show in London as he always has some tables there.
He is very knowledgeable and being toured the museum with his commentars was a real delight !

I'll post some pictures in the following days but here is the first one : one half of the main room of the museum.

Cheers,

Michel

PS: if some of you would like to visit, just send me a message and I'll forward you Jean-Claude's email address.

Hi Michel,

Holy cow! What an amazing collection! I can hardly wait to view the other photos you plan to post. Thanks for sharing the museum with us!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Thanks for the little taste, Michel! Can't wait for more pics! It looks like there's a good collection of 1/6th scale-12" figures there, too.

Prost!

To be continued...

I have spoken to him a couple of times at the London show but he never indicated he had such a fabulous collection-Absolutely outstanding!

Thank you for posting Mardasson that is now a priority one destination for me next time I'm in Belgium sometime in September.

Jeff

Don't know Jeff.
We'll have to check.

BTW, could you please confirm if you'll come only with wife and kids only or if you'll bring along brothers, sisters, nephews, uncles and great-aunts as well ? :D

If they have your painting skills they'll sure be welcome and I'll make sure they won't be idle !

I really was impressed with the scope and coverage of various modern makers as well as older ones, but where are the elephants?

Thanks for sharing it with us
