Quite well thank you. I am thinking of getting a degree in American History and perhaps specialize in the ACW if such a thing is possible. You have been doing a wonderful job on both your series. I would love to see more of the FIW too. The Conte page is getting exciting. And I would like to do some prototype painting for him. (nice wish) Perhaps they are intimidated by our brilliance. LOL
I had notification just recently about this "new or newish" release, it is not yet in my "Smithsonian ACW Library" but with Xmas looming Who knows? Thanks for reminding me.

I just started a book, Tried By War, by James M. McPherson. Its about Lincoln as a commander-in-chief. So far its been pretty good. I dont know if it goes by the same title in the UK but I thought I would let you know.
Hi Harris
Never been a great fan of Frontline even though I have about a dozen of their pieces mainly mounted personalities-who look nothing like who they are supposed to be representing.
Early Britains mounted figures were inconsistent-ranging from good to bloody awful but the new cavalry figures look pretty good but the problem I have with Britains ACW-they are too clean and bright-most cavalrymen were filthy because of the nature of their all-weather business that is why I believe that the best and most authentic looking ACW cavalry currently on the market are the Collectors Showcase series. Take a look on their web-site-the poses of the riders and the modelling of the horses in full gallop really are exceptional.
However, I must not be too critical and I take my kepi off to Britains who are trying to plug a gap in the market I just wish they wouldn't paint their horses all one basic color.
Hope that helps but really it is all down to the eye of the collector.
