    Re: Obi-Wan Kenobi tv series

Sorry, I was thinking of Star Wars Rebels, which they cancelled. We weren't big fans of Resistance; the animation and stories weren't as good.

    Re: N.F.L. Season 2018-19

I don't think the Jay Z signing is as big a thing as you're making out to be. He and the music (and all that comes with it) appeals to the under 35 crowd, which is the group they're trying to attract...

    Re: 2019 Baseball season

I think there was more to the Arrieta signing than just signing Arrieta; it told baseball they were serious about contending. It was similar to the Mets signing Pedro in 2005. They wouldn't have been...

    Re: Obi-Wan Kenobi tv series

My son and I watched Resistance and liked it. However, season 2 has already run and according to him the series had already been cancelled, unfortunately.

    Re: 2019 Baseball season

To think that the Yankees got him for a rental, Chapman, and that Chapman is now on the Yankees. That's called a steal. However, if the Cubs had to do it all over again, they'd still make the trade...

    Re: 2019 Baseball season

I actually wanted Cabrera but he wound up with the Nats. Happy that the Mets could sign Panik.

    Re: 2019 Baseball season

When I saw the lead-in to the game today about how deGrom is almost unbeatable during the, the Mets beat up on Sanchez, etc., I had a feeling this might not be the Metsí day, and I was right. Bad...

I watched the 49ers Cowboys game with my son last night. The game wasnít bad although Jimmy G and Bosa (injury) didnít play. The funniest moment of the night took place when Garrett threw a challenge...

    Re: 2019 Baseball season

Years ago, Dish dropped both the Yankees and the Mets saying sports was getting too expensive, etc. I promptly switched to Direct TV. No way I was going to be without baseball.

    Re: 2019 Baseball season

I feel your pain. Itís very frustrating when a team gives up a lead. The last person I wanted to see in the 9th was Diaz but he may have to come in tomorrow, if it comes to that.

    Re: Woodstock concert documentary

It seems that many of the people who get things done don't always get the credit or the recognition.

Here's another interesting one, about how Woodstock ruined rock festivals for a long time,...

This post could also apply to the Mets -- and probably a lot of teams. The bullpen has stabilized a bit but their big acquisitions over the winter -- Diaz and Familia -- have been bombs, to put it...

    Re: Woodstock concert documentary

Two of the promoters were businessmen and perhaps they foresaw the potential profits from the recording.

    Re: 2019 Baseball season

Mets won an incredible game over the Nats tonight. When they went down 5-3 and then 6-3 (because the catcher let a ball get by him), I was sure it was over. The Mets have been on this amazing streak...

They made only 1,969 of the 38cd sets so profit taking was inevitable. However, there are 10cd and 3cd versions available. Iíve ordered the 10cd version.
