I am not sure it really been has been proven that sniping saves money especially if there is one or more snipers involved.
I guess for this one we will not see eye to eye but as gentlemen we of course can respect each other's positions.
My first item from the marco polo collection. I will try to pick up the other building at some point. Now the tough question, will it be K&C or First Legion figures for this diorama... If anyone has some recommendations feel free to let me know....
would there be demand for maybe the carriage in matte ... dual purpose you could have the ww1 or ww 22 delegation...
The armistice was signed in a carriage of Foch's private train, CIWL #2419 (Compiègne Wagon). It was later put back into regular service with the Compagnie des Wagons-Lits, but...
Now we only need to convince Andy to pay us a visit in the Great White North.... maybe the Toronto toy soldier show in the Spring of 2016 at Fort York!
I think ebay would be a better place without such cutthroats, thugs and/or rogues but saying all that we still also have to deal with global shipping surcharges which is the bigger problem today....
personally I think it is not honourable and a practice that gentlemen should not participate in. I think it creates irrational bidding especially when more than one sniper is involved and it makes an auction basically about the last second which often drives up prices more if people did...
I can already hear fellow collectors yelling blasphemy..... hear me out first..... I have been avid collector of the series that started in 2008 but when is enough 24th of foot when other items have yet to be touched from this genre... I have as many 24th of foot at rorke drift as that where...
I am surprised this figure did not get more attention as it has been awhile since anything new from this line.. It is the only Jenkins line that I have ever been interested in but hesitant to start collecting since it was AFV heavy with little troops and it seemed to be a line without a future...
The only improvement for the wooden airbird series that I would recommend is to include some original figures or at least pilots. For some of the WOW offering, the figures make no sense and seem like an afterthought? I think collectors might even prefer no figure and knock 40 dollars off the...
Clearly the Sierra promotional idea was poorly though out... totally understand your disappointment especially as you had to buy a ticket. They could have done at least a repaint aka pmo concept. A poor call by two great businesses....
I think the seller owes me a beer lol. Originally the ebay auction was BIN at 299.99 and bidding at 229.99. I waited to the last day of the auction to place a bid thus removing the BIN option. In the last minute 3 bidders got into a bidding war not only did they go over the original figarti...
Right now I think they are the company that is innovating the industry for aircraft in this scale. Beyond the creativity in design they have also addressed the cost by keeping the wooden ones in a fair price point and have also be innovative in offering monthy payments. I am starting to look...
Tough one... realism vs morality. I am not sure I would buy-one for my fall of Berlin diorama but I definitely would have to think about it. K&C would be the most likely to do such a set based on their gestapo set etc. The moral question is where does it stop.. an ECW guillotine for Charles...
wow someone got a great deal.. the going price is more than 3X price on ebay.... on the other hand someone left a lot of money on the table. however if everyone is happy than it does not matter
Could not agree more about wbritains. They talked up a ww2 series last year at the toy solider convention in Toronto and this year's event is not that far off and still nothing. I think they have tried to get their operations back in order as a priority first, I noticed they have started to get...
