    Conte Black Box

I recall that who ever were the 'War Lord' figures came in boxes similar to the Airfix figures, 4 color with pictures, etc. I'm pretty sure that some of the German sets came that way as well. Not sure about other figures. But the WL figures I know for sure did. Wish I had some of the boxes now.

    Expeditionary Force WW2 sets???

Wow. Very nice indeed. They have a nice Airfix look to them. Not overly done but nice poses. Hope they'll have them by Sept. for OTSN. I imagine they won't be cheap, however.

Accurate figures 1/32nd zulu war 1879 - might have been!

I spoke with a sales rep at a hobby trade show a few years after Accurate started production. He had a full color catalog of eras they intended to do. I don't recall if Zulus were one of the lines, but I wouldn't be surprised. As we know, almost nothing was done other the ACW and AWI. Sad...

SELL TOY CO. - Last Man Standing?

Very difficult site to work through. I gave up after ten minutes, which is not good for their business.

Nice New Indian on Stad's Stuff

Yeah, I didn't quite see "Sioux" in this guy. You might be right about Comanche. One of the things is that he doesn't look particularly tall.

    Boonesborough melee

That's neat! And lots of fun to set up, I'll bet.

“WORLD OF DICKENS” in 1:1 scale!

Wow, bring it to OTSN next year and set it up in the atrium.

Currently produced 1/32 Sets of Toy Soldiers by AIRFIX

The Napoleonic as well as the Western figures were all released about ten years ago by Classic Toys, so they must be around somewhere. As it is, you can usually get a good price on Ebay on original sets.

new pictures of up coming releases

Could be just the picture, but I'm not crazy about the pistol of the bandit. Looks too big and out of shape.

All four new Germans now visible on TSSD website

Who's Greg? Anyhow, I remember the SS label also, and vowed not to buy them. I'm not actually sure that Conte did SS in plastic, or called them that anyhow. Probably in metal.

new pictures of up coming releases

The Japanese look very nice. I like those much better than the Marines. However, how about some in ragged uniforms rather than looking neatly pressed? I'm really intrigued by the gangsters. The Untouchable figures haven't had any competition in years. Good luck with both lines.

Neat, but could do with less bonnets.

    Marxman,s Plastic Sets

Didn't look it. My first thought seeing them was that they were supposed to be special forces guys in disguise.

    Marxman,s Plastic Sets

The models of all three sets shown at the show looked good. I thought there was a fifth VC shown there as well. My biggest gripe about the VC is that they seem too big. It seems almost every company makes the Asian figures too large in proportion to actual size. Same with Alamo Mexicans. I...

    Paragon Civil War figures

I can't answer how durable the paint is on the figures, but the painting itself was excellent on the figures at the show.
