Hi, and welcome. I'm not sure what you mean by model soldiers, but...I'll assume that you mean the many figures that are out in kits in 1/35th scale. There are tons of those out there, and as I recall Tamiya was one of the very first companies to do so. Why they and others went the 1/35 instead...

Great book. Very very informative, though my only quible is that he seems to generally like Monty. The other two books were great also. One I have now is from the library, but I'd like to get the three as a set at some point.

I'm more a plastic guy than metal, and while there haven't been any new items in a while, Richard is the best thing that happened to Britains in decades. I think that best of this company will be past now, and the hay-day of Britains is over. Very sad and sorry to see him go. Things won't be...

I think the Paragon figures also have the base issue. When you consider Marx generally just had a flat base which worked fine. Too many of the bases on new figures wind up limiting what you can do with them.

Neat. I just figured those were from last Christmas. Those will work well outside a cantina.

I think slightly repainted to a less gaudy color will really make these neat. Too bad these are probably off the shelf by now. Hopefully they might be back next christmas?
