    Muhammed

There was a film in the 70s, I believe with Anthony Quinn, orignally called Muhammed,Messenger of God, but quickly changed to just, I believe the Messenger, where Quinn (geez, he played just about every nationality but African-American/Black) would 'talk' to Muhammed, then go from there. If I...

    Paragon Scenics

Following up, I'm disapointed by this. I was looking forward to seeing the latest and getting some of the older ones I don't have. I hope this is only a small set back for them. This is a big show and if they can't make it that's not always a good sign. I read somewhere else that RC isn't coming...

KING and COUNTRY 2010 OTSN Exclusive figure

I have for sale a Old Toy Soldier show exclusive King and Country figure for sale. This is the figure that was a premium figure given by Andy at the TreeFrog Dinner. It's a WWI British Tommy walking. Beautiful figure. I'm not sure that I took it out of the box, but the box seam has come unglued...

Has anyone any information about whether they will have a new set at OTSN or any more information on new lines?

Pius XII figure at the Hobby Bunker.

Yes it is. I suppose the big question is why reproduce it? Do you think it will sell 50 figures?

    CTS long barrel T34

I think the idea was not to be authentic in scale as much as to match the Marx tanks which ran that small.

    What Were Forum Members Reading?

Just finished "The Admirals" about USN WWII Admirals King, Leahy, Nimitz and Halsey. Fantastic, and to finish the theme, or least continue, Anthony Beevar's "The Second World War". Very indepth in some ways, but interesting.

    London Toy Show new location?

I've been looking at the website of the publisher and I don't see a magazine about teddybears, thank the gods. I'd be a bit honked off to travel all the way from the States to see Beaniebabies. The magazines themselves look to have a cross-over appeal, so I suppose it would be worth seeing...

    London Toy Show new location?

Wow, touchy subject. I did notice last December that the hotel was considerbly busier with tourists all over the place. I recall other years when the place seemed almost deserted with people walking around, only toy soldier folks. But I think the whole neighborhood is busier than it used to be...

    London Toy Show new location?

Maybe this has been mentioned and if so, please feel free to direct me. But, how come? I know there was an attempt at the AlleyPally a few years back, but it's been at the Imperial for almost 20 years that I know of. I'm sure there are very good reasons, and I'm not against it, but tradition...

Was that a customized drape or an off the shelf one?

    Marx Civil War Set Up

Wasn't me, but yeah, those are great. I'm guessing those are the Britains flags.

    Marx Civil War Set Up

Not sure what you mean, but I see some non-Marx figures, and possibly some reverse color figures?

    Marx Civil War Set Up

The problem I have with one this size is if I could set it up like this I'd want to keep it up. Living floor is likely not a good option. I may need to think about a second ping-pong table.

what manufaturer do you like most?

First, Marx, then it's a tie between Airfix and Barzso. The difference, of course, it that Airfix hasn't made any new figures in about 35 years or so, and Barzso makes new stuff every year. Then TSSD, which is very creative, Matchbox,(almost all WWII) Paragon, Timpo, then a few others like...

    Marx Civil War Set Up

What is involved getting the figures to stand on that sort of a base?

    Marx Civil War Set Up

As some one who is building up what I thought were huge Marx blue and gray armies, I'm sooooo jealous. I love this. Wish i had living room floor like that.
