    Allied White Star on Vehicles

    Marines in the Pacific eschewed 'white star' ..'targets' on all vehicles .(Unless recently liberated from unworthy doggies). Late war Army wised up in Europe and kept most AT gun 'sweet spots' to a minimum On vehicle tops OK to keep busybody zoomies from friendly fire "omigods".
