Happy New Year Treefroggers! 2015 is starting off well. Standouts for me are the Dodge Weapons Carrier, P&M flagbearers and the German guard and his faithful shepherd. I noticed the numbering on many of these releases were to fill in gaps in series, ex. WS198 & NA213 for those of you who notice...
Super show and as always very well documented by our Treefroggers. Thanks to all for all the hard work you do bringing these pics to those of us who cannot be there. :salute::
Agreed IKEA is the way to go for inexpensive display cases.
Outstanding display of JJD Poilus! The marching line in front of the facades is really inspired. ^&cool There is always something so impressive about seeing one theme (any theme) done in a big way with a large numbers of soldiers and...
OMG is still my core series. After all these years it still speaks to me like no other and I may add is the only series I am almost a "completest" in. I'm glad to see that despite being a niche subgroup in WWII that its still going strong with vibrant releases. ^&cool
That's a very cool concept turned into reality! It would be really impressive to see other K&C releases from other ranges brought to 1:1 scale. Perhaps a smaller display (like a small group of soldiers) for a "prop" at one of the big collector shows. ^&cool
Awesome piece. I'd really like to have a bomber in my collection. I've never seen one in person or know anyone who has one but if you check out how small the figures are alongside the bomber it gives one some perspective on just how enormous these pieces would be. I know I don't have any shelf...
These kinds of releases I really like. They are so unusual/unique. I am very tempted to pick up this pigeon wagon! Thanks for sharing your pics.
As a long time collector (like a good many of you Treefroggers) I have reached the point where limited space prevents me from meaningfully adding to an already bloated collection. :redface2: I don't collect boxes, if I can't display my pieces I just as soon not have them. Because I now have to...
The Typhoon is a great late war choice however for an early war display might I suggest the best warbird of all time...any of K&C's versions of the Battle of Britain SPITFIRE!
We are starting to see some recycling of content in this series but that's OK because a lot of newcomers need to play catchup as old releases are long retired. As a longtime collector of the OMG series I'm biased and would like to see some new things like a paratrooper tending to an air dropped...
As always really nice armour releases by Figarti. In particular I'm liking the winter panther. Would like to see a tri colour camo version exactly like the winter one and I'm in. ^&cool
A little late to the party here however kudos to all for the great pics documenting this year's show. Gordon's dioramas certainly looked great as backdrops for the K&C product. That PnM castle takes pride of place however the winter piece was a definite solid runner up. ^&cool
Been a long time since a four figure sets been released. Harkens back to my original purchases of K&C when that was the norm. Nice sets but standout figure is Donald Sutherland, really looks like him. Not so sure about Clint, Telly etc.
Nice dispatch. I've been waiting for a camo 222 forever and now one's arrived. Came close to buying the original grey version and modifying it but glad I waited for this one. Definitely a buy for me. ^&cool Nice DD figures. Standouts for me are the ambulance and aboriginals. The new Pikes &...
