Yup, as with many "Western" figures from many manufacturers the guns just don't look right! It's not like Colt 1873s, Remingtons, Winchesters, Sharps, etc, etc are hard to find. There are even modern reproductions of the classic western-era firearms in production. NOBODY seems to be able to...
At a Japanese trade show Wingnut Wings announced their first WW2 aircraft - a 1/32nd scale "Dambusters" Lancaster bomber! Could be quite an interesting model.

Very nice! Andy, your Ontos is an impressive model of an odd little vehicle. You nailed it! I also like that your loader has a round with the distinctive pierced casing of a recoiless gun.
I wish I wer rich, I would have a full patrol of the mounted John Ford Cavalry! I grew up watching...
Too bad, I think he has more ground to cover in Viet Nam. Besides, with TSSD being sold off there isn't much competition in plastic except for Mars.

Knife: I have several types that I use. Most common is the #11 blade, it's a good general purpose tool. I also like the Olfa craft knife. I have a number of different knife handles with different types of blades to get cuts made or to remove equipment.
Glue: for general fixing I use ACC...
Great sculpting and nice quality molding! Interesting stuff. The troops in the gas masks are because some units used CS gas ("tear gas") to help in clearing buildings in Hue. The 3.5in Rocket Launcher ("bazooka") was used to blast VC positions and also to blast holes in the walls of buildings...
Over the years I acquired several King & Country sets and figures with an eye to create a diorama of GEN Eisenhower meeting with PM Churchill and Monty. I have attached some photos of the planned arrangement. Now, reality has set in and I realize that I do, and probably will not have the space...
So if the vehicle scale is "1/38" does that mean the "Rat Patrol" will be small, or just that you will accept the old problem of big men and small vehicles? The guys need to fit ON the jeeps. Those jeeps were a signature item, not just scenery.

I bought these years ago for a diorama, but I never namaged to build the scene. These guys need a better home! They are in their foam in their boxes. They were unpacked and displayed briefly (non-smoking home). I am asking $300for each and buyer pays postage (beware, they are rather large...
Very nice WW2 offering. Couple small points;
1) There were NO LVT(a)1's at Tarawa or in the Gilbert campaign. They were developed in response to the lessons learned at Tarawa.
2) Love the "late war" US infantry, but I wish you had shown the later US boots. The US Army produced many fine and...
The sculpts aren't very well thought out, the detail is soft to non-existent and the weapons are very poor in detail, in scale and in molding.
