    Enhancing Mass Battle Confederates

No pant patches. All future patches will be located on coats / jackets etc. Nice work Bob. Good to see you living up to the acolade of being a multi dimensional artist, rather than the singular strand we are more familiar with post London shows.:smile2:

What ever happened to HJB Figures?

Hi Michelle, They're long out of production. As far as I know, they just did 6 German figures and 3 variations of the halftrack. Thet occassionally pop up, but don't tend to sell for mega bucks. Cheers, Simon

    DD 38 question...................

Hi George, I had the same point raised a couple of years ago when i got one. Short answer is, no, nothing is missing, for some reason, there is just a spare cut out in the foam for this set. Cheers, Simon

    Phoenix Model Miniatures-in production anywhere?

I ordered from them a couple of years ago and it was a very quick turnaround, with no problems. Simon

    Removing bases.

Wayne, Where it's apparent that the figure was cast separate to the base (as with most modern manufacturers), it's worth giving them a steady rock against the bases. If the paint starts cracking around the plug / hole join, then with some careful manipulation and a minimal bit of paint touch up...

    Alan Caton aka Trooper

That is sad news indeed. I was fortunate in having many conversations with Al over the years, putting the world to rights. A hugely talented and knowledgeable man who's passing is a great loss to our community. Simon

    The American Civil War Diaries

I agree with you to a point B, he's definately showing some signs of improvement, but the law of averages would dictate if you put enough photos on a thread, one or two will at least meet a mediocre standard. His tanks still look a bit funny though.....:wink2:

    December London Show Help

'missed a few'? Mate, you've missed that many that you'll need to up the limit on your card to get all the drinks in that you owe. Catch up in December, by which time I'll have built up a nice thirst. :) Scott, Similar to most mate, I'm getting in at St Pancs then walking up to the show, after...

    kill rings

Hi Sammy, Masking tape? Tamiya do a range of widths that should be easier than the normal inch wide stuff. You could do a ring at a time, a couple of minutes per ring, allowing a reasonable length of time to dry, and just keep chipping away at it. Paint would look better than decals IMO.

    Shannon Reuss - 1970-2015

Pete, Ben, I only just found out the news we knew would eventually come. I am so sorry for your loss. I was fortunate enough to have met Shannon over a couple of days in London and everything you pick up from e-mails, pms and the like, proved accurate. A truely remarkable woman, caring, warm and...
