    30mm napoleonics

Those BZ photos are stunning! Wow! Did you see this site mentioned on BFFS? Some crazy cool buildings - though the one shown is a bit too big. http://www.dollhousestore.com/Featured-Projects-002.htm

    30mm napoleonics

Hey Ray, Your photos are spot-on! Very well done. Great figures. I love the flat trees used for background. Have a bunch myself that are unpainted. You're inspiring me to put them on my workbench again, though I choke at doing anything "natural"!

Interesting News from the Detroit Area

It behooves all of us to check our bank and credit card statements frequently. More and more, there are cases of ID theft, stolen card numbers, and "mistakes" like the ones mentioned here. We need to remian vigilant.

Welcome Back!! The Forum has a new look!

Doughnuts!.........mmmmmmmmmm! Thanks Peter for all your hard work. I like the new look. I'm sure the missing functionality will return as you learn the software. My only suggestion would be to have the threads run from OLDEST to latest (the reverse of the current order) so I don't have to...

I hate the new forum format

Looks ok to me - a bit different; but the same functionality seems to be here. I'm guessing this is one of those changes that was done for "technical" reasons? My only suggestion is that I would really like the threads to start with the OLDEST at the top - so I don't have to scroll down to...

Thanks for the kind words. I do get to planet figure and the other figure sites frequently, but thanks for mentioning it. Those projects can kill ya! Good luck with your Pegaso project. They make a fine line of figures!

    My Redoubt

Great job, Sandor. Finally found your thread. Great pictures, too! Maybe after you build the AWI display you'll be motivated to get some figures from that period. Britains DOES make AWI figures! :D

    Scotland Forever!

Time is a problem for us all - and you have to decide whether you will spend time online or painting. I prefer to paint! You have a great site. I still do rounds, but have been concentrating in flats for the last 5 years or so. If you're interested, here's a link to my "What's New" site with...

    30mm napoleonics

Hi Russ, glad to meet another BFFS member here! The Mike Taylor book is the "bible" on flat painting, and if you have one you're lucky. Mine's very well-worn and I constantly use it as a reference along with Greg DiFranco's articles. Put the book on your list and you will find it eventually...

Britains Display in Hamley's window 2003

It was the Britains window display at Marshall Field's (Chicago) in the mid 1950s that got me interested in toy soldiers. I remember it still. Great display and photos. Thanks for the memories!

    Selective Buying

FWIW many of us have been through similar times. Use your collection for enjoyment right now; and, as things begin to improve, you can being to buy again. Sometimes we get so interested in the new stuff we forget to focus on the wonderful treasures we have. Maybe it's time to re-paint some of...
