    AIR CRASH IN VIRGINIA

Thank you for your educated input Beaufighter. I note there's already been some temporary restrictions put in place regarding helicopters pending the investigation. However I expect the investigators will find a number of factors that contributed to the accident. The high volume of air traffic...

    Antony and Cleopatra

Victor, if not already done, you may need to Replace the warm yellow (2700k) light with a cool white (4000k). And congrats on your deserved recognition in TSC magazine.

    AIR CRASH IN VIRGINIA

Yes, the helicopter flew into the jets flight path, accepted visual traffic control and increased height from 200' to 350/400' for no apparent reason, seems like case closed. However I don't think the responsibility is 100% the fault of the helicopter pilot. As with most accidents the swiss...

    AIR CRASH IN VIRGINIA

I regularly watch a number of YouTube channels concerning air crash investigations. In most cases the military usually have restricted airspace near their bases, and have precedence over civil flights. Not sure that applies in this specific case but this matter may become more complicated over time.

    Hetzers sold out

Most of the TS companies have tried new manufacturing and packing ideas over the years, not all of these ideas work first time, some never will.

    The Arado E.555 Amerikabomber

I can certainly relate to the space issues having downsized from a large house to a converted Three beder. I did have my 1/32 scale Lancaster displayed in the Family room in a custom built cabinet but it kept getting in the way. It now resides on the top shelf of a cabinet in my 3rd...

Return to Arnhem with all-new British Airborne dropping in this November!

Sounds wonderful Louis :) I don't have a pond either, but I do have access to a river that adjoins by boundary, I can literally cast a fishing line into the River from my yard but as I feed the fish, mainly Bream and Catfish, they are more like my pets than edibles :) I have considered...

Louis, that is impressive mate. Do you have a tennis court or similar outdoor space you could convert to hobbyville? :)

Ouch, sadly often a reality with the increasing trend towards accuracy; More detail = Increased fragility.

    The Arado E.555 Amerikabomber

It's an impressive and unique beast, but same as most collectors I don't have the space etc for large models like this, it's cool that some do.

Our changing hobby-the decline of shows and possible alternatives

"Just curious; what shows are now apparently bigger and better than they were pre COVID?" That's a good question George, I don't know, perhaps I was influenced by optomistic Show Promoters, please note I did include the term 'apparently' to indicate a personal reservation regarding that...

Our changing hobby-the decline of shows and possible alternatives

The Toy Soldier hobby certainly has changed and will continue to change, each year brings different challenges, and opportunities for stakeholders in the hobby. For example the Covid Scare caused the demise of TS Shows but increased Online sales, since then TS shows have returned, some...

    The Sturmpanzer IV “Brummbär”

A very realistic scene Tristan, that model has some terrific detail. I have the TGM version but wondering if I should upgrade to the Warpark version as the open hatches certainly add to the scene. Can you provide some comparrison photos with the TMG model as the only issue with me would be...

    The Stopgap Tank Hunter.

Steve, I managed to watch it by clicking on the 'Watch on YouTube' link. It's better than most of these type of docos, with accurate narration combined with relevant vision.
