Marengo, speaking of Hat and Wellington, it seems to me that they don't have any 1/32 British figures? Does that impeed your play a bit?

A lot of the smaller figures are. The grey Germans are Marx, and some of the GIs are, but not as many. I don't think the large figures are Marx either. Marx made 6in WWII figures but these don't look like them. The German tank and the 88 are also Marx. So is the barbed wire and the small raft.

What do people think of the Hat line? What would you like to see? What is your impression of what they have out now? Personnaly, I think they are good in a lot of ways, I think their Napolionic figures go perfectly with Airfix, however.......it's just not my cup of tea.

I would imagine had the Germans invaded the UK the US would have gotten involved earlier, even against the popular opinion of the great percentage of the US population.

I'm not necessarily a fan of Hat 1/32 or AIP. But the point was that there are a lot of things out there besides WWII or "Amerocentric".

Who? AIP and Hat? Not really. Hat also does Ancients. AIP has a lot of Britsh colonial wars. Check their latest.

Hat also has alot of 1/32 Napoleon era figures. Armies in Plastic has stuff all over the board. Then there are the Apaches and 6th Cav.
