Hi guys
thanks for the comments.
The dio got lots of wonderful comments at the show this weekend. I cant wait to see it with the other two boards.
Here is a bit more detail on the hedges-
Sammy is right, it is horse hair but it is rubberised!- the hair has been glued together to form sheets. I...
I was approached a few months ago by a customer who wanted me to make Pegasus bridge for him in 1/30th scale. I thought it gave me a great opportunity to try out a laser cutting friend of mine and see if he could design and build one, with all components cut out using his laser cutting machine...
Thanks Sammy for putting up these photos. The finished dio looks great- I put the finishing touches to it this morning.
I will have it with me at the London show this Saturday if you want to have a closer look.

Hi guys
Thanks for the nice comments. I really enjoyed doing this dio for Sammy. I had most fun with the vegatable garden and adding all the detail.
We have designed the layout so it can be extended with new boards as necessary as well as the boards interchanging with each other so you can get...
I had a great time at Salute. I am a wargamer and always will be so being surrounded by loads of games was just great.
Personally my terrain also went down very well which is always a relief.
Here is a link to a friends photos of the day...
Hi Isandlwana
I am David at TMTerrain. Have you sent a couple of emails to me and not had a response? I am usually pretty good at replying to emails I get. When did you try?
David
it is great to see the dios in use and looking great. It must be nearly two years since I did the first one for Sammy (the one on the top shelf of the cabinet) and it really is very satifiying to see them displayed so beautifully. I think each one is very different and Sammy has put alot of work...
Thanks for the comment. I have had alot of good coverage from it. It was a great thing to build as it was so different to what I normally make.
Have a look at my blog for more photos and details how I did it:

Hi
I thought I had better post that we are having problems with our web site. It is something to do with the server and could be down for a couple of days. It is nothing to do with us finishing with the toy soldiers- the site is not dead and things will get back to normal soon.

Blog updated again.
I have finally pulled my finger out and posted photos of the railway station I did for Clive to display the Figarti's German railway range. I know it is months behind but it is better late than never.

John Jenkins figures have now been removed from our web site so you cannot buy them from us anymore- not even over the phone.
The new dealer goes live on 1st September so you will need to contact them for your JJD figures from that date. We would like to wish them every success and hope the...
Due to TMterrain no longer selling toy soldiers because of us loosing the JJD dealership and the strength of our terrain making business we are now selling off all our Collectors Showcase stock at 20% off. The full list of what we have is on our web site. The prices will be changed over the next...
Tmterrain have known for a few weeks that the dealership arrangement with John was likely to come to an end.
It has given Mark and I time to think about the future. Johns business made up about half of our toy soldier turnover so a big hole has been left in the business. Also, the terrain is...
I am sorry if you have read this elsewhere on Treefrog but I want to make as many collectors aware of what is happening at TMTerrain and the sales of toy soldiers.
Mark and I have decided to stop selling toy soldiers altogether. We have just lost the John Jenkins UK dealership (which represented...
Some of you may have heard that TMTerrain has lost the JJD dealership so we can no buy his figures from John. Mark and I were very disappointed when John told us and it dramatically effects our business. John's ranges made up around half of our toy soldier sales and his monthly release schedule...
