When is John Jenkins going to properly get stuck in to World War 2 with some sets of troops in action poses ? There is a lot of fiddling around the edges, albeit with some fine sets - but these are non action and too static , get stuck in I say - nothing to be afraid of- I would love to see...

So gents, what's the gossip on new ranges generally ?

I picked up this fine set of figures from eBay. Lovely sculpting and well thought out poses, almost a "Lladro" style to them comes to my mind. Such a shame these figures aren't made any more, I think they were very under rated. Very glad I got these.

Hopefully in tropical camo too !

A fair assumption. They look versatile for any tank or non tank related scene fortunately, and fit in with some of the previous resting FJ sets...doing a fry up...having a ciggie etc.

Cheers. I was too busy looking at the photo to bother reading the info ! It looks a great combination to me. The Carthaginian elephant in the treefrog link looks impressive - nice Samnite style cuirass being worn too ! Seems to be based on the Ksour Essef armour found. I would go for this...

Fine composition!

I think with the sheer range of interesting products coming out from a variety of manufacturers these days, there's no point kicking yourself too hard if you " miss something" , as sooner (rather than later) an item or range at least as good ( maybe better) will be released anyway, to satisfy...

We will soon be in 2019, the speed at which this year is zipping by !

Hopefully more action posed FJs soon ?

A fine picture. Some of the art in the Osprey books is great too. Artist Sean O Brogain seems to do some very impressive artwork on ancient battles.
