Finally recieved my BF2. had to modify some of it ( factory error ), placed my pilot/gunner ( cast and painted by Jim Elsey ,Mr. Toy Army Workshop ). Some bad photos and comments. Took MyMahoganymodels over 7 months and 2 redos to make this. It is well detailed, properly painted to my specs...
Reality check was that it cost me $300.00 which includes shipping. I love Tom Gunn's stuff, but the prices put me off. There are so many factories out there making this stuff, I was bound to find one that could match their quality at much less. This was my 3rd outfit as most others can only do...
Holding my breath as this took 7 months to make ( Phillipines factory issues ) and I will not have it till tomorrow...here is an FB2. The stock photos do not show the matte spray applied yet. It is 1/30 scale and will hold 2 pilots made for me by Jim Elsey.. Michael
Betances walked first 2 batters and commited an error without recording an out last night. Almost another choke job. The Yanks fortune and chances changed when Betances chose to lose all control and mastery of any of his pitches. Joba Chamberlain like, remember him...Not sure if Betances has the...
To my good friend, George. Found this incident that actually happened at your ballpark. Little talked about by the faithful, but it ought illustrate a point.^&grin Congrats for a Division title:(..Michael
Maybe there is a GOD and I ought to go to church more often. My hatred of the RS wanted them to lose O's and be knocked out of first, but here he has shown me his real plan. RS win division, only to be crushed in WC. O's and BJays lose most of last games and Yanks sneak into WC to crush RS...
At least Buck is more creative in his excuses than Girardi....Does get tiresome for the fan of any team, when their manager and team does not show the same heart or feel the urgency as we do..:(Michael
Enjoyed 3:10 to Yuma remake due to great acting and a little different script than the original. Totally hated True Grit remake as it basically copied line by line the original and none of the actors improved on the movie. Marbled mouth Bridges vs JOHN WAYNE..Please! Michael
I used several layers of very thin hobby wood sheets on the hull, bending it around my bottom hull form, with little craft " jewels " for rivets. I bought faux canvas from a craft store for my awnings and brass fasteners for my port holes. Michael
" My " lets go o's should be able to beat the RS since they are playing in a MLB ballpark and not a Little League field. Some experts figured that there is a 30% plus offensive advantage to the home team at Frenway Park. Their are warnings to the fans in the outfield bleachers only for children...
George, would it hurt you by not being a typical New Englander who cannot accept winning or success gracefully. Free agency watered down the pedigree of MLB allowing just about any mediocre team to compete. Put them in a ballpark that has Little League dimensions, peds and hotdogs on demand to...
Totally agree, possibly the most little known, heroic naval battle in all of U.S. history..The Japanese made a wonderful movie ,recent ,about the Yamato. Subtitled, but great action and acting. Michael
I actually agree with the idea of not having some veteran relievers still arround. Most of those in the bullpen except Severino are meatballs and should never be seeing any big league innings, never mind clutch games or situations. The Yankees teased us with this late run, but losing 4 out of 5...
1) Custer's Last Stand...as historically accurate as possible..think Son of Morning Star updated with a better actress for Libby..
2) Battle of Trafalgar....Master and Commander with more ships
3) Fredericksburg.........Turner like, but less drama queens and almost no talking.:rolleyes2:
4) WW1...
