    With some heads by All The King's Men. The Tigers are usually not shown with Jambieres . Trying to carve off the ones on the AIP figures would weaken the legs so I kept them on, Coppen's Louisiana Zouaves were photographed with the Jambieres so.......

    The kneeling pose is interesting. Hitler never was excommunicated from the Catholic Church.

    The old Strombecker boxed kits were about a buck back in the 60s. I found these as odds and ends. Instead of the 1914 diorama the box had you build I painted these as "sort of" Franco Prussian War. The set wasn't that historically correct anyway...

    ...OK It's TSSD's cavalry painted as Confederates. I went with a sort of uniform unit with assorted hats.

    I spray the figures with several coats of matt spray over the acrylics. We'll see how long the paint lasts.
