These are great! To be at this point with Set 2, the first set must have sold quite well. It bodes well for the additional sets planned.

I mix my Britains Vikings/Saxons in with the JJ figures. JJ is more detailed but the two work pretty well in my opinion, certainly to make a bigger battle scene. I was hoping for more Britains in this range but it trailed off a couple of years ago.

I see you wrote 2022? The Romans came out last year. There hasn't been time for the 2022 sets to be made yet.

I take it you mean Conte's? Yes, they're excellent! There's pictures in a thread in Plastics. There's some great photos on his Facebook site for more Romans, Barbarians (Goths) and even another set of Vikings. Whether these all get done is open to question but the new Romans are great!

Maybe it was a budget thing, or Covid impacting the number of extras but the trollocs were too CGI, especially in big battles. Those were epic in the books but they were not at all compelling in the show.
