My 3 German WW2 Panther Tanks

My preference is definitely the John Jenkins with its MAN/Daimler-Benz Sep/Oct 1944 factory paint scheme. The RAL7028 (Dunkelgelb) looks weird but overall a nice job.

    Honour Bound Repaint

I agree, the paint just wasn't very accurate. The engine we left untouched and just painted the underside of the engine hatch. This was a weird model in that it came molded into the base. For me, with the new paint, I'm far more likely to incorporate it into some of my scenes. Next up, Bergepanther

I had this old Honour Bound broken down Panther that I thought we would take a stab at repainting.

Some remarks about the future Hetzer BB078

Truth be told, I'm happy whenever I see a plausible paint scheme with color variations in the spectrum of the official RAL colors. We know there was variation, particularly in the field applied camo schemes. That said, too often I see manufacturers select unsubstantiated color plates out of...

    A Beautiful Panzer III

Hmm, fair comment. Neither can I. I appreciate that manufacturers sometimes economize on components, other times it's simply a miss. Long ago, I've accepted a degree of inaccuracy. Each collector can let their dollars do the talking.

I originally ordered the printed books but they were discontinued as he had countless problems with publishers. He then released the books as public domain PDFs available here. http://niehorster.org/011_germany/books_gwwii/index_vols.htm

Thanks, My wife said the same thing. I generally only post low res versions so I wasn't too concerned about it but it might be worth reconsidering. The thing is, with the various photo AI tools these days, removing a signature is very easy.
