Thanks, they were before my time and if I had bothered to check their history further I would have discovered that Mars Bonfire (Dennis McCrogan) was a founding member of Jack London & The Sparrows that became The Sparrows and subsequently Steppenwolf, so certainly not the outsider I thought he...

What about some 'Indigenous Natives', there are very few TS examples available, but maybe could convert Indians etc to the 'cause', they also rode horses, and had a similar camp life to Indians Perhaps Australian Aboriginals are a possible theme for new range for a major TS manufacturer to...

Yeah, it's one of The Saints few pop type songs, '(I'm) Stranded' is more typical of their lineup, the singer was 19 at the time of this film clip. I have Boulevade of Broken Dreams on my play list together with Minority and Holiday.

Yes it was an interesting doco Kev, Punk has been around a while hasn't it, I'm not a big fan of Punk but I do like some such as Green Day and Offspring. I agree that the term 'Garage' has been applied to more recent bands such as Nirvana, they keep changing those genre goal posts don't they...

1927 is an Australian Rock Pop/Rock band that achieved limited success overseas, here's one of their best songs imo: If I Could...1927

That's a good cover, like most people I assumed some guy from 'Steppenwolf' wrote that song, but not so, was this guy: Born to be Wild...Mars Bonfire

Excellent display Robin, although very tempting I haven't ventured into that era yet. If there were more conflict based sets such as depicted in your photos I would be more inclined to buy as I tend to prefer battle action displays. I would ask the Toy Soldier manufactures 'What about more...

We are both Bee Gee free 😂 As for Mac Ayres, he does sing some high notes, but not as high as this dude 😟 Sarah Brightman & Fernando Lima...Pasion And now for something completely different; Slash & Chris Stapleton...Oh Well (cover)

I'm not a fan of falsetto either, there's no Bee Gee songs on my play list, he sounds more like a tenor with echo effects to me. I have several Five Finger Death Punch songs on my rock play list, great band.

Another day in the bush pt 2

I'm interested in most eras Greg, but these days I 'try' to just collect Aussie based sets, I'm still selling off all the other stuff on ebay etc, it's a slow process. My forum name honours my Grandfather who was in the Australian Light Horse during WWI, my Dad was in Lancasters etc in the RAAF...

    Hard days work.................

Yeah, that would be the go back then. I used to like the old VB (Victorian Bitter) ads, but it's ironic that John Meillon who did the voice over for most of those ads died from cirrhosis of the liver at the age of 55 in 1989, a direct consequence of his alcohol consumption, it's like the...

Miles Davis is certainly one of the best Kev, I have 'Blue in Green' on my playlist as I'm not a fan when Trumpets are too loud, which I agree is 'unusual' as I like loud Heavy Rock and even some Metal tracks, there's just something about LOUD BRASS that doesn't agree with my hearing  :D...
