Another day in the bush pt 2

Greg, that is one of my fav dioramas from the K & C Diner comps, I hope they reintroduce that comp or something similar, always added some interest to the annual diners imo. Personally I prefer a simple display with a bare shelf plus some trees etc as I tend to rearrange my displays almost...

That came thru Load and Clear Kev, a bit too Loud for me, I guess I'm not a Big and Brassy Jazz fan ha ha.

I'm not surprised you haven't played any Halo games Kev, they are First Person Shooter games, mainly developed for Preteen and Teenagers plus the occassional Nerdy Sci Fi guys like me, I absolutely loved the games, some more than others. Marty O'Donnell composed most of the Soundtracks for the...

Sorry to say Kev, that your video didn't work, may be best to stick to Youtube as the videos on their platform usually work ok, not always of course.

On another note, John Coltrane's 'After the Rain' reminded me of 'Rain' from the Xbox Halo 3 ODST game. I may have mentioned I spent many hours playing the various Halo games, some great memories playing against my sons as well some very immersive solo games. Halo 3 ODST was perhaps the most...

The Angels are still touring Kev, albeit with a few member changes, so many great musicians seem to pass early in their life, sometimes due to their addictive lifestyle sadly. Yes, liking Jazz was a surprise to me as well, something to do with getting older I guess, I'll be buying antique...

Whoops, I accidently quoted myself there by using the 'Reply' function instead of 'Edit', but a good excuse to add another film clip more appropriate for a lazy Sunday morning downunder, considering my neighbours are prob upset about my loud rock songs this morning :D I liked the 'Bosch' TV...

    B-17 Flying Fortress

Great pics Robin, wish I had room (and the spare funds) for several 1:30 scale Bombers, I have to make do with a lonely S-Sugar Lanc.

'Pub Rock' ruled in Australia back in the 1970's/80's, a time when you could get cheap tickets to see Cold Chisel, AC/DC, The Angels etc. It's hard to choose a favourite but I really liked The Angels back then, and still do, they released some iconic Aussie Rock songs such as 'Take a Long Line'...

Great choice, I just checked my Spotify Rock playlist, have Six AC/DC songs on it, my fav song is Thunderstruck, their official film clip has some unusual and now iconic shots.

Whoops I forgot that the old Kreisler Stereo was replaced before my dad passed away by a second hand Grundig RPC system supplied by one of my brothers. Despite being several years old it was a very modern looking system with a Dual turntable, cassette player and radio. The turntable didn't work...

I love all kinds of music, but mainly Rock, I was an early adapter of digital recordings and trashed most of my record collection long ago. This is one of the few records I kept for sentimental reasons being one of my Dad's favourites that he used to play on our Kriesler Stereo 6 Mulitisonic...
