    Plains Indians on Paragon Website

Actually, that was in jest. I like them. And I like the fact that they are not in the usual semi-naked attire. Anyone who's been on the great plains know that it is colder there a lot more often than it's warm.

Okay, maybe it's me, but do the heads seem too big this time around? Otherwise, like the poses.

TSSD Viet Nam conversions - USMC

Fantastic. Some of those poses are what I would imagine the TSSD series 2 figures could be.

Anyone else get an email from Conte?

From another site, he supposedly posted on a war gaming site recently that he'll be back with lots of stuff in 2017. Take it for what it's worth.:rolleyes2:

Anyone else get an email from Conte?

At this point it's been over a year since the last update on his site. This is almost sad.

    US MARINES by TSSD

I'm trying to get a closer look, but the jungle books look authentic. Overall I'd say they look spot on.

    US MARINES by TSSD

More important to the US troops than the NVA/VC would be an RTO (radio telephone operator). He's the key to calling in the massive American firepower, artillery, helos, air support, etc. Along with the extra guns, we need the availability of a "Prick 77" radio or equivalent. Gary B. Waverly...

    US MARINES by TSSD

These are great also. I can't wait to see the set. These are on the top of my list for OTSN. I'm glad there aren't a lot of unique poses, such as a NVA soldier with a bugle. You can only do so much with these figures. I'd rather more shooting and charging. As it is, the Marine with the...

    NVA by TSSD

These are so good I'm hoping that there will be a second set soon. Along with some vC. You should post the pictures of the marines also.

    TSSD Vietnam

Nick has the pictures up of the new VN Marines and NVA figures. Very very nice indeed. I hope the next sets are US Army and VC. But these are a tremendous start. Or, as we used to say "TSSD Number 1"

Portillo's are all company owned, and were owned by the original guy until about a year ago when Dick Portillo sold the company. There are actually two within not much more than two miles of the Hyatt, both on Golf road, one east and one west. Lots of discussion about whether their beef...

I think it's Long Horn that's across the way. Very good. If you have a car, and extra money, there's a Shaw's Crab house that is fantastic about a mile south. In the area there is just about any kind of food you like, a lot in walking distance. Five Guys is about a mile away.

I believe you can take the El to O'Hare and a shuttle to the hotel. Or even just do an Uber. Double check, however.
