So, there is one special effect in this scene. The explosion is spray painted pillow fiber, lit with Halloween lights. That hides a coat hanger wire that is suspending the Turret. The rear explosion is a backdrop photo.

John is not into WWII ... I bugged him for years, before I convinced him to do the Jagdpanther. I discussed Normandy, Market Garden and the Bulge. I thought we would get Allied stuff, out of the Bulge the way the conversation was going. So far ZERO.
