Thanks Louis and OzDigger 😃
That is indeed the classic Unimax FOV bathtub in my display. The shelf/hutch and desk on the ground floor of the building are also old FOV products. They scale realistically enough with the somewhat larger 1/30 scale figures and definitely look the part…
I have a...
A big shout out and thank you to everyone for the kind compliments on my First Legion/War Park diorama! It is greatly appreciated and the positive feedback one gets from the members of this forum is awesome and makes this hobby such a joy 😃
I rather like K&C’s old Hurricane tooling; through the Spitfire Mk I model definitely needs an overhaul… Nevertheless, it will be great to have some new aircraft models with detail more on par with K&C’s recent Vietnam Huey helicopter as well as aircraft from the (John Jenkins) competition 😎
Awesome displays, Villagehorse! The trench/sandbag terrain is particularly impressive. I’ve got a bit of John’s French WWI items as well and agree with everyone else that they are fantastic!
Mike, it a great piece, but is way heavy - surprisingly so! I’ve not weighed it specifically, but it’s definitely several pounds worth of resin and plastic. The building is definitely intended for a static display, though since I tend to move my displays around, I had to find a sturdier base for...
I agree with Wayne’s sentiments, Joe - you’ve made an awesome setup there! Nice to see another collector making good use of the Xuan Hua tank commander too!
Very nice setup, Joe! I used those same two Britains figures in my initial vignette with the First Legion winter M10:
And fun to see “Hoodie Guy” skulking around a new AFV in your setup too 😎
These are great figures, particularly for a late war setting (and they work perfectly with that First Legion Panzer IV!) I’ve still got to get a couple more of them myself to complete the set. W. Britain is on a roll and making excellent figures for a still-affordable price 😎
Lots of the same pics of my Kharkov diorama as seen in my post in the First Legion forum, but I wanted to put some pics here in the War Park forum since a majority of the items in that diorama are War Park, including the Panzer III, Russian figures, street base, and building. The WS054 Red Brick...
That’s great you’re finally getting some FL figures, Wayne! I think the FL DAK figures look great and mix very well with the War Park figures and tanks. You can see how well they mix in my photos below… I think you’ll be happy with your FL figures 😃
Mastercomm is correct about the wrong unit markings on the FL winter M10… It’s an annoying mistake, particularly on an expensive premium/best-of-the-best type of model, but it’s not the worst error out there… For me, that “worst error” award goes to the upside down stowed tracks part on the FL...
Jagdpanther, here are some pics of my W. Britain M5 AT gun. I just got the “Battle for Germany” (non-winter) set and add-ons. It’s a great model and the add-on crew and accessories are a great touch. I’ve had mine out on display since February 2023, so it’s clearly a set I like 😉
Thanks for the very kind compliments, Rob 😃
King and Country’s Vietnam line of figures and vehicles is certainly well done and one of the best and most complete Vietnam War lines available among the different manufacturers… I do like the wide-angle rearward pic you posted above and it’s probably...
Barkmann, yeah, I’ve got quite a bit out on display… My house has turned into a miniature military museum of sorts, lol! But when I put the money down for an expensive and high quality model, or I make a good display/diorama with something, I want to enjoy it!
