To quote that old commercial from the 1970's..."Is it live or is it Memorex"?
Your work is so realistic that we always have to do a double take just to be sure that we're looking at a dio.
Another outstanding job Frank!! Keep them coming.........! A pure joy to view your work!
Great minds think alike!! I've been doing the same thing. My back yard is semi-wooded so I have a constant flow of resources to use. I recently began using real dirt as well.
Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing here on the forum.
This looks very nice!! Your compact version turned out great.
I like your use of actual tree branches or twigs. I've done that on several occasions with my scenes and it adds a good deal of realism.
It's amazing how a very small tree branch fits into our scale models to appear as if...
Jeff has a very nice collection. Thanks for sharing it with us Victor!
I always like seeing how other collectors display their figures and, of course, to see what they have.
Very nice Wayne!! I love how you manage to get the propellers spinning in all your dio's. As Rob said in his above post, this is quite a creative work you've done here.
George,
Looks like you had a great time. Thanks for sharing about your experience. While I'm not into wargaming I can appreciate it a lot. Seems like it would be tons of fun to participate.
It makes perfect sense when you say that war gammers are very knowledgeable when it comes to...
Duke,
I agree.....nice photos!! Your photos always seem to capture the mood and the feel of each dio you make. One can certainly sense the winter chill in looking at these.
That is a great piece!! I agree that the 6 oxen team completes the picture for sure! Congratulations Mike on getting this wagon. I'm sure you will enjoy it for years to come.
This looks great Mike! I have most of those sets as well and I plan on getting some of those large late autumn trees.
Can't wait to see the finished product once you've gathered up the rest of the pieces you plan on adding to the display.
I agree!! You did a fantastic job building this Wayne!! Good idea too, to test it out with the ACW figures and setting up a Confederate ball.
I recognize most of the figures but who makes the dancing figures?
