Hi guys,

Thought you might like to see our next three WW1 Biplanes… As you can see they are Fokker DVII ‘s and are in the following markings belonging to these aces…

1. All Black Fokker… flown by Leutnant Josef Jacobs, Jasta7
2. Red Fokker… flown by Leutnant August Roben, Jasta 18
3. Green and Yellow Fokker… flown by oberleutnant Harald Auffarth, Jasta 29

Please note… each aircraft will come with a removable half-body pilot figure.

Suggested Retail Price US$199.
See them for yourself at the Chicago show. More details later…

Best wishes and happy flying!
Andy C.

Don't know whether its a brave decision or what to make a identical version of one thats not been on the market long and, annoying when I have just bought the JJD variant. They do look nice for sure and look forward to comments about them from the guys on here who know their WW1 aircraft

These "FOKKERS" are superb getting hard to say no to this new line..........................................{sm2}

I'm a sucker for WWI planes. Having pilots for the cockpit is a real winner. It is odd though to make exactly the same color combinations that have been released by JJ. The only knock that I have on the KC planes is that they look too shiny and new. Like they just rolled out of the factory. The JJ planes definitely have a more realistic appearance in that regard. As Al mentions on the JJ thread, the D.VII does also have a complicated lozenge camo pattern which KC appears to have omitted on the Auffarth plane.

I do like the removable pilot idea. I would really like to see it sold separately for the first WWI release.

This is an excellent idea. Just for the record, there is a typo in the description of the new Fokkers. The red Fokker, with the Raven on the side, belongs to August Raben, not Roben. The aircraft look pretty good (with 1 or 2 minor caveats), but I would like to see more photos from different angles, especially from the front and underside. -- Al

Love the pilots, too. Interesting about the almost simultaneous release of the same craft. I also share the view about the shiny and new vs. the used, realistic aspect. It is a collecting choice. I have been unable to confirm (from my somewhat limited sources) whether or not the Auffarth plane was all green. The probability is that the wings were in lozenge camo, especially the undersides, but I just don't know for sure. It is possible the undersides of the Raben aircraft wings were in lozenge too and that Fokker should have a white nose, but I need more photos of the models. The factory applied lozenge camo was standard and it was common practice to not paint over it on the wings, especially the undersides. That said, the Jacobs craft was all-black and Jacobs apparently had both the D-7 and triplane, (as represented by the JJD Fokker Dr-1), in the same color schemes, available to him at the same time. -- Al

OMG - Not FOKKERS - Not WWI PLANES ! ~ UGH !

I love WWI Planes - these K&C Planes with removable pilots (FINALLY !) are outstanding.

Just when I had my collection under control - now I must expand again ! Very Hard to Say NO to beautiful WWI PLANES ! ^&grin

For those interested further in the new KC Fokkers, all three may be found in the color illustrations section of the Osprey publication "Fokker D-VII Aces of World War I, part 2" by Franks & VanWyngarden. It is book #63 in the Aircraft of the Aces series. -- Al

If I was ever to get one of these it would have to be this one.....such a nice colour!........:wink2:

They are beautiful models, I just hope the release of these doesn't interfere with the release of the next wave of 1914 French...{sm2}

WOW! I've been waiting for K&C WW1 warbirds for years and then 6 come along almost together! These DVII's look stunning. I particularly like the sculpting / poses on the pilot figures and can't wait to hear more about the ground crew figures. I've already ordered the Richthofen and Voss Albatros DV's and the Goering figure and I can see another big purchase with these new DVII's......

I wonder if they are 150 editions again?

I've noticed that a lot of dealers have sold out of their Albatros allocations. These new releases look like they won't be around for long too.....

Well done again Andy and team.

Wow!!! So glad we have to companies making WW1 planes!!! Can't wait to get these and the new Albatros. Anyone know if these will also be limited to 150?

These are beautiful planes. But like someone has already said they just look too " spanking new". I would prefer them to be weathered down a bit.

Very nice indeed, what superb looking models. Oh dear, now what am I going to do?!!!{eek3}:wink2:
