2017 Panzer Grenadiers (1 Viewer)

Merry Christmas all,

I received K&C's new Panzer Grenadiers (released Dec 2017) in time for Christmas.

Marked "Classic Wehrmacht", I find these new figures most interesting as they seem to span a few different WWII German sub-themes. Wehrmacht yes, perhaps Waffen SS in Normandy for their tri-color accessories (and helmet worn by one of the Sniper Team (WH082)), and even Luftwaffe as their uniform color looks a lot like K&C Luftwaffe blue. K&C's formal description mention these being "perfect for any late war street-fighting scenes".

I've pictured with K&C's Opel Maultier Flakwagen (LW032) which I think goes quite well as the new figures compliment the Maultier driver. The Maultier is a fantastic vehicle I might add. I'll call my set of new Panzer Grenadiers the Luftwaffe Brigade.

Overall, an excellent set of new figures! I plan to purchase the new Stug next year and will be using these to accompany the armor.

Always enjoy you're feedback WO and thanks for posting some excellent pic's of these guys. The Maultier is one of my favorites and great value for money, especially when you consider you get three figures with it.

I don’t understand the tri-color/SS comment. They are just wearing the standard Heer camouflage.

late war (1944), as far as German uniforms were concerned , the German soldier was wearing everything he could lay his hands on ( shortage of equipment and materials)
I have pictures of Tiger tank commanders wearing U boat leather jackets handed down from the Kriegsmarine. Others are wearing drill tousers and motorcycle grey green leather coats and jackets
combined with a 1940 officers black cap with aluminium wire piping etc.......

Love these new figures. Well done Andy. Looking forward to future add ons to these figures. The kneeling Grenadier is my favorite. Great detail on this figure. The sniper set also is a hit.
