Hi Guys,

When the British Expeditionary Force was successfully evacuated from Dunkirk in late May and early June 1940 it had to leave behind virtually all of its armour, artillery and vehicles on the beaches and roads in and around the northern French port.
After a few days home leave the exhausted troops returned to barracks and began the long road back to becoming once again... the British Army.
For most of them that process began on the “Drill Square”... under the eagle eyes of their NCO’S especially the Regimental Sergeant Major.
Drill” both then and now, instills discipline, pride in your appearance, unit cohesion and teamwork.
The British Army takes great pride in its drill and firmly believes in the value of it.
Here, Prime Minister Churchill pays a surprise visit to one such unit and observes the men as they go ‘through their paces’.

Stand at ease... stand easy... and best wishes!
Andy

Just in time for the new movie 'Dunkirk', due to release in Australia on 20th July. Good one Andy. Robin.

Fantastic figures Andy, but please don't give up on producing some more action and resting poses for the early war period. They work well with Greece & Crete campaigns too.:salute::

Cheers Mate!

Hi Andy,

I completely agree with "Desertkiwi". I'd still like to see new figures of that historical period. As you can see below, they fit well in other theatres...

I'm waiting for the good news on the doorstep,

best regards

Enrico :)

And that is how the 1958 movie with John Mills ended, on the Drill Square. Still a good movie. Great looking figs. Chris
