Before K&C's tribute to the soldiers of Private Ryan, there was the 1st Infantry Division, a wonderful set of figures in my opinion. Versatile, diverse in poses, and well-armed, I had to break out a few for this morning's "Picture of the Day". Here's a set I call the "fab four" in action:

Wasn't DD01 the first "private ryan" set? I seem to recall from the leaflets and figures I have that was the idea.

They did some cool BRO figures for Utah beach as well- DD16 or so..in that range.
