Ok, in the vein of "talk" being cheap, here you go...........

Caveats....
1. This is NOT the final model. Many details are missing.
2. Because of 1. I won't anwer any questions.
3. If any K&C or HB or Figarti vehicles are this good, I'll eat my hat.

Yeah, that's right, the crew are FULL figures....Dispaly them inside the tank or display them outside.

Seriously, if there is anything better available, please point it out to me.

Wow! That is an incredible first vehicle, very nicely presented.

You deserve to do well.

Jeff

Matt,
Congratulations on a spectacular vehicle, no doubt the detail is better than any out there from a scale perspective as many of the vehicles while looking great have dispraportionate detail. Stugs are one of my favorite anyway so your preaching to the choir to me.
Now the all important follow-up question, at what price this masterpiece?
Ray

Matt,

There's one too many rivets on the front.

oh, hang on...no, sorry, my mistake, it was a bit of dirt on my screen.:p

Seriously cool piece and exceptionally well done mate. What a great way to launch your vehicle range. Big thumbs up.

Simon

WOW, This is heresy ........I'm selling everything I have now and going all FIRST LEGION.

Thank you Matt.

Very nice indeed Matt.Great first release, look forward to seeing these in the Flesh.

Rob

I would add my congratulations on a stunning AFV. WWII ground pieces are not something I am interested in collecting but I would note this piece continues the excellent tradition you are building with your "horse" cavalry. Now if you happen to make a Spitfire of this quality, well that is a horse of a different color.:D

Excellent detail. Stugs are among my favouite AFVs. They are the second most produced German AFV after the sdkfz 251 and a workhorse of the Panzer divisions having to do the defensive work of tanks later in the war.

Terry

I think the quality is exceptional. This looks like the detailed Tamiya models that I always wanted to buy but didn't because I am a crap painter!

I am in for this, even though at the base I am not a WWII collector at all! Was not a Nap collector either...

Nevertheless, the other thread was a tad provocative Matt...:p, as is your opening statement...even though it is true for most of us...

Nothing I hate more when the figures are cut at the waist to put into a tank!

Congratulations Matt!

This looks to be a wonderful looking tank but like Ray I am wondering about the price.

Very, very impressive.:cool::cool::cool::cool: Certainly outclasses anything but the very highest quality Figarti vehicles. I don't think you will be having to eat you hat. I will certainly be buying one if it is in the same price range as Figarti or Honour Bound vehicles.

Matt has informed me that at some point I posted that I could not see First Legion making a vehicle as good as those produced by Figarti, Honour Bound and K&C. If so, I appologize, and admit I was wrong. This StuG looks fantastic. Mea Culpa . . .:p:D

You know, the problem I have with Figarti was you didn't get what you saw in the pictures. What I mean is, their tank bogies are never strait and even the treads were always crooked. They ended up looking like a child glue them together. I've had HB treads the same way but not as prevalent. Having purchased a Figarti, Winter Pz.IV and paying to ship it from England, apon opening the box and getting a tank that wouldn't work out in the field is not my idea of quility, for the price indeed. Thats why I wouldn't purchase their Lee's. And why I think there is a price ceiling in this hobby. Your not getting what you paid for.

If FL give's you quility, and I'm sure they will. Then everyone else out there better step up and start giving their customers the vehicles they paid for as far as quility control, CS at least does it for far less money.

Louis, I always knew you were a class act and with this post you have just reaffirmed that sentiment.

Matt

Excellent Matt, simply excellent, you have me completely hooked.

Regards

Brian

Tank look great
would be interested in what it will cost to buy

That looks like a very impressive piece, definitely the workhorse of the German armed forces and a must for any serious armour collector. Great work!
