Hey fellas
thanks for the kind words. My first Happy BDAY came from my old 506 roomdog callin me an old man (even though he's 18 months older than me). Ironically enough I got up at 506 yesterday am and did my own "40 and fit 5k". Of course, I show up at the lake and there are a couple young 20something studs there. I didnt want to get blown away so I took off like 2 minutes before them. Eventually they got me but I kept them in the rearview mirror for the first 1.5 miles. Then the trail started climbing uphill and the body said yeah right!! {sm2}{sm4}
Fun birthday all said and done. I got a contract renewal from one of my clients friday night. God has a sense of humor as I randomly opened to one of the pages in the legalese which read "....contractor will not discriminate against people because of race, gender, age (individuals aged 40 and over)......{sm4}
My wife got me a german chocolate cake which was delicious. My daughter made me sausage and french toast with cinnamin. My dad came over and we built a somewhat level {sm3} table for my dday diorama. My mom also finished up painting a barzso building for my Modern war diorama.
It was a great day and I am very Blessed!! Thank you all for your friendship!!
