Thanks guys,
no its wasn't lunch at the Tradwinds, overlooking the Swan River, on another perfect spring day, my gals took me out to dinner last night instead beacuse today I was 'on parade' at our annual Gunner's Day Parade and Servcie in Guildford, closeby to the WW1 Camp at Blackboy Hill where the troops trained before going to Galliopli.
As I'm a committe member and had the most important job or organising the dignitaries in the wreath laying, so I was needed there (and to make up numbers).
I did manage one cold beer after, but its a long drive home, so no more there... oh dear, the sun is almost down now, so time for another (or 2)
kind regards,
John
