Greetings y'all!
I am back amongst you fine people after yet another absence.
Coaxed back by some emails from people asking for access to my IP photo albums, so here I am.

The only trouble is, I am out of practice and cannot figure out exactly how to provide people access.
Would you a few of you kind folks please check and let me know if you can see my pics?
Additionally, any reminder tips on how to manipulate access to my albums would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Anyway... rumor has it that there are, once again, molds spinning in Greytown.

Drum, I can see your photos. Are you using a photo hosting service or did you use the board software to do so.

Brad

Okay so that would seem to indicate that these are set to "friends only" or something.
Any suggestions?

I used the website software to upload the pics directly. Not hosted, except by Treefrog, I guess.

MikeMiller, I added you as a friend so you can see, pending a fix of that.

Thanks for the replies guys.

D...

I accepted your invite and can now view 9 albums...
perhaps you do/did have your settings on "private"...
not allowing "non friends" to view them all...
I especially like your Egypt/Sudan album...

Thanks. Those are some of my favs as well.
Yes, that must be it.
I cannot seem to figure out how/where to toggle that privacy control.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

D...

go to "settings"...
then go to "profile privacy"

you can edit it there for public view...

Thank you, sir.
Alas, that is not it.
All of those are set to "Everyone"

Hmmm.

Your resurrection is well timed. I just asked Tom D. at the Open House Event what had happened to you.

Do we know each other? Where in the Lehigh Valley are you? I'm in Bethlehem.

Prost!
Brad

Hey Baron, I’m also in Bethlehem, on the corner of Church and Linden downtown, across the street from the giant phallic gravemarker in Nisky Hill. :smile2:

As for my resurrection, it is well-timed, but not completely random, as shall be revealed shortly.

Ah, in the Old Town! I go by there all the time on my way to points south via the Fahy Bridge. I used to work at Pentamation, too, back in the day, and that was part of my walking route at lunchtime.

When I was looking for a house up here, I looked at a place on Wall Street, the property with the house at the back of the lot. But I settled on the North Side-the real North Side, not the area between Broad Street and Elizabeth Avenue-on Lincoln Street, on the Linden Street side.

Prost!

Just for remembrance sake thought I would contribute this. During the early part of WWII (1942, before going on the staff of the V-5 Pre-Flight Program) my father was the track coach at Leigh University. We rented half of an early brick duplex on West Union Boulevard adjacent to a golf course. There was a railroad behind us, and the trains were continuously going by carrying armor, guns and heavy trucks eastward to New York. To young to buy any, but also distinctly remember the extensive display of W. Britains,Ltd. toy soldiers at Hess Brothers Department Store in Allentown. Happy Thanksgiving greetings to all.

Brad,
I know exactly where Lincoln St. is located. I used to have a GF back in HS who lived on Bayard.
I also bet I know which house you mean on Wall. I delivered newspapers to that whole street as a kid. :)
We should hang someday. You can come over and check out my Dad's collection.

Since reading your post, I have been trying to follow W Union Blvd in my mind to try and figure out where there might have been a golf course. I am pretty sure I know where the RxR tracks cross that road in Bethlehem, but I can't figure the golf course. I suppose it could have been swallowed up by the construction of the highway and nearby Middle school, both of which occurred in the 1960's.

Anyway... cool memories. AJ. I was born and raised in Bethlehem directly across the river from the fire belching and noisy excitement of the steel company. They've since turned much of that fascinating beast into a giant casino with attached industrial museum. It's weird to be old enough to have some tiny awareness of how drastically the world around us has changed during our lives.

Come back for a visit any time! We have some cool breweries here now (again) too!

You too, Brad. Beers soon!
