Hi Guys,

Here is the 'second installment' of our upcoming "Battle of Hue" featuring our new U.S.M.C. in combat.

As you can see this is a joint-venture Ad produced with our good friends at TREEFROG TREASURES (thankyou Julie).

As well as some great figures there is also another important fighting vehicle 'in the works'... The K&C six-barreled, M50 'ONTOS', essential to any battle scene based around Hue City during the TET Offensive of '68.

Look out for all of these and much more at the upcoming TEXAS TOY SOLDIER SHOW at the Menger Hotel, San Antonio on 26 & 27 May 'Memorial Day Weekend'

Best wishes to one and all...

Semper Fi!
Andy

Hi Julie,
I was so pleased that you liked the ad and as our co partner in the advertising I think it's only fair that we launch the preview right here on the Treefrog Forum!
All the best and...See you in San Antonio,
Andy.

This is a very well thought out release. I collected the First Legion and Figarti Vietnam series so at first I was hesitant to collect another maker's Vietnam range.
But the other makers provided a war in the country (rice paddies and jungles) theme and K&C with their Hue theme is one of urban warfare.
In addition to the different theaters the Hue series can be put to great effect in a smaller modular diorama depicting a street fight. If K&C provides more scenics,
other than the walls, such as a few ruined buildings the diorama options become even more dramatic.
Looking forward to seeing some figures of the NV and VC to start thinking about my new diorama.

In addition, we will probably see more releases more from K & C. I've been waiting for more FL ones. Still waiting.....

Hi Brad,
Good to hear from you...While I don't know what other companies are producing in the future...I can certainly confirm that K&C's own venture into 'Vietnam' is most definitely continuing...
All the best,
Andy.

God, this new range is only getting better by the day, Andy! With this second installment below that you just presented us, your above comment is the cherry on the cake!

Thank you Andy. Hope all is well.

After searching high and low to get my son a early set of the Vietnam figures for the upcoming dinner, we gave and he purchased CS's range.

Looks like dad's going to reaching in to his pocket for this one.{sm3}

Don't feel bad Norman; me too. Their new Huey sucked me in. I'm just wondering if K&C will offer one as well.

Don't think so Rob...CS seem to have done a fine job and besides K&C is concentrating on doing the 'ground Battle' in Hue...

That means we've got more than enough on our 'Vietnam' plate to keep us busy for the time being ... Actually, I'm hoping to pick up one of Brian's Hueys at the Texas Show myself!
All the best,
Andy.

I have the Figarti one and am more than happy with that. As I was disappointed in the CS halftrack, I wasn't going to purchase their Huey. I'm just glad that K & C have come along with their range.

Great set up with the chopper and Marines Rob.
Thanks Steve.

Hi Andy, appreciate the info.

I hope we'll see also ARVN figures..:) i know many US servicemen despised them..but in Hue they played a great part in the Imperial Citadel... i want to point Andy and all the staff at K&C about the size of the figures..:) ARVN and PAVN (and vietcongs) were very diminutive compared to the green giants.

Thankyou my friend...the ARVN will definitely have a place in King & Country's plans I promise.

Thankyou also for the reminder that, generally speaking, most Asian people are noticeably of smaller stature than most Europeans and Americans...

Having lived and worked in Asia for 41 years (and being married to a Thai lady also) I think I noticed that fact pretty early on...
However, it never hurts to be reminded!

Best wishes and happy collecting,
Andy.
