Just talked with Andy and I AM SO HAPPY !! :D

For all you wonderful Napoleonic Collectors !! We are getting new French Artillery THIS YEAR !! Yep, thats right - THIS YEAR !

but wait theres more ..............

For all you American War of Independence Collectors !! We are getting new American Continental Troops THIS YEAR !! - Yes, Oh Yes - THIS YEAR !!

As Andy said - "there you heard it from the horses mouth !"

What a morning this friday turned out to be - great news from Andy. ;) I think I will go play the lottery

Rob

I know those new troop developments dont mean much to a WWII guy - but for those of us who do collect the "refined art" ;)

IT IS GREAT NEWS !

Hope you are doing well,

Ron

Not so fast my would be Waterloo winner!;):D.I think its good news too.For after years of thinking about it i have recently decided (along with ACW) to dip my toe so to speak in a little Nap action!(that sounds very very weird when you think about it!)I love the new British Guards the French and British Cavalry and thought i may pick up a small scene at the show.Just something small to start with,i've wanted 'Seizing the colours' for ages so maybe that.

The one thing i think the Naps have over all other ranges is the uniforms,i can't resist the old Red tunics Ron(;))(and the French come to think of it).I look forward to the new French cannon, just don't park it too near those Red Squares!

Cheers mate

Rob

Ron,

That's great news for you and I can really see it made your day. So, congrats. Maybe one of these days, Andy will make a Limited Edition for the Napoleonic collectors.

Ron

That's twice ... you have made me fall off the chair in the last 12 hours.

More guns and more troops ... even Rob is going to get his feet wet with "something small to start with ... " LOL

When will be the Polish lancers ?

... excuse me, I have to go play the lottery too.

OD :p :p :p

Well its about time you joined the refined collectors club ;)

Yes - those calvary units are to die for ! (well so to speak :) ) I have all the Scots Greys - which are wonderful and I just set up a new display of them in my office - charging the GUNS ! Photos will be posted.

I also have the French Heavy Cav - really nice - although there are not enough Coldstream Guards getting slashed for this display - Andy needs to make some - I mean I already have a very large collection of dead and dying CG Troops. :D

But, now with new French Artillery - well, its just plain DUCKY with me. :p

Rob - Glad you found the light - now maybe you can spend hundreds of $$$ of figures - like you got me to do with WWII. Turn about is fair play.

Yes, Yes !!

NAPOLEONIC COLLECTORS UNITE ! Our Voices Have Been Heard !! :D

Does anyone else think that this simply has to be Ron's second life?.Surely he was on the field of Waterloo that day and has returned to try and defeat those pesky Brits in 'Waterloo-round 2':D

I agree with about the cavalry Ron,superb figures.I may buy one french and one Brit hoseman slashing at each other (with their sabres of course, had to point that out as some people on this forum have very rude imaginations!!:D;)

Rob

New Napolianics, great news, I now can save some money!
From a WW2 collector,

Ron,
Enlighten me a bit if you would; when you say you spoke with Andy, I assume he phoned you, which is nice if that is the case? Also, I'm also confused as to why he would tell a collector about his future plans for releases especially since he keeps these things very close to the vest.....................

Confused in Massachusetts:p

I don't suppose it's horse drawn artillery complete with .....horses:):D:)! Well I can dream but I'll get em anyway. When are the continentals getting some redleg support?

Methinks Ron's on the wacky-backy, and is hearing voices from Hong Kong:D:D

Actually - it was by email, so I mis-spoke about "spoke" - and to help with your confusion(?) Andy and I are friends and trade emails.

Also it should be no surprize on that information to anyone who has read my postings & my support of K&C on this forum.

Not sure if I am reading your tone correctly - I didn't think this was a competition? It should also be addressed that although I am "only a collector" - it certainly doesnt make me a second class citizen in the Toy Soldier World next to "dealers". ;)

Andy - gave this information in a reply to questions I had on these two ranges - because I felt a lot of AWI and Napoleonic Collectors were really interested knowing what's coming up - we hear tons about WWII and I think Andy wanted to share with his friends.

Hopefully this helps and enlightens.

Regards, Ron

Ron,
No, you are not reading my tone correctly, but this is not the first time on this forum you have made that mistake with me.

Noone ever said as a collector you are a second class citizen, those are your words not mine, so relax, ok; you'll live a lot longer if you learn to lighten up.

I asked a simple question, I don't think the answer I got was warranted, unless I read YOUR tone wrong.:p

Ron

You are too modest. Far more than a collector ... you are a lobbyist too :). I may have said so before, but I tink we Napeleonics & AWI fans are well served to have you sharing the same interests and in K&C in general.

Now ... back to the lottery :p :p

OD

Excellent news! Good work, lobbyists.
(It is too bad I will be unable to buy anything this year)

Well thats good - sometimes the way you write things doesn't come off well for a political guy like me.

When you use the words "ENLIGHTEN" and "CONFUSED" in a statement within a form of a question - well, my friend your tone comes out as a little crass - but, then again I work in CRASS-TOWN USA - don't I ? :p

No Harm - No Foul.

Cheers, Ron
