I found one of these figures at the London Toy Soldier Show in June, and so far I can't seem to find him in any catalogue listing.

He is a Drum Major of the Seaforth Highlanders, and looks like the same casting as the Black Watch Drum Major that was realised in the late 1990's.
There is no label under the base, but the engraved on the base is King & Country.

I have also seen this particular figure for sale on EBAY recently. and labelled as KING AND COUNTRY SF01 SCOT BANDLEADER FIGURE for 30 pounds (US$40) so is that a reasonable price ????

I think it's from the Pipes and Drums issue but the number is throwing me off. I will check my catalogues letter and get back to you. At any rate, $40 is a good price.

I checked my brochures and couldn't find a reference. Sager's has a SHG 01 and 02 but no photo unfortunately.

I have found a couple of images of this guy on EBay

and this one labels him as

2000 SPECIAL Seaforth Drum Major PD SFDM

and they are asking £99.99 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got to hopeful, I suppose???

That was probably one of the K & C UK Club releases. Do you remember the seller?

Confirm that this was a K&C UK Club release. They had a series of repaints and new figures they sold to club members from that time frame.

Thanks
Tom

I found the seller. Will keep an eye on the auction to see how it does.

I had a couple of the Club figures at one point.
