K&C BBG005 Hetzer Scale (1 Viewer)

Is the Hetzer compatible with today's new K&C Figures?

I recently purchased the BG005 Hetzer.
It comes with a standing figure and this figure is the same height and build as other K&C figures I have.
However, the half tanker in the models looks slimmer than most figures.
His face looks smaller too, but this may be due to him being modeled with a balaclava on.

It does not look quite right if you look close, but not enougth to bother me.......that is until you mentioned it {sm4}
I am not sure if the Hetzer scale is the issue or the tanker in the model has just be thinned down a little too much.:confused:

K & C figures made to fit in tanks, vehicles, mobile artillery etc are usually slightly smaller than their standing figures. You don't really notice it unless they are displayed next to each other. And of course tank crew and related were/are usually smaller in real life. Each collector has their own opinion on "correct" sizes/scales, and discussions regarding the best/most accurate usually ends in arguments....and tears {sm4}

Wise words indeed !.

At the end of the day the Hetzer is a great little model and one I am happy to have in the collection.

I don't think I realised what a compact little unit it was until I got the model. Very cost effective killer indeed.

The Hetzer actual size is; length 6.38M, width 2.63M, height 2.17M. A 1/30 scale model should be, length 212.6mm, width 87.6mm, height 72.3mm. I agree with the comment that armor figures tend to be smaller than infantry figures and they are usually 1/2 figures , so comparisons are difficult. As they used to say about aircraft if it looks good it is good or beauty is in the eye of the beholder! The best 1/30 Hetzer produced in 1/30 scale to date is the TG Hetzer . The size is an accurate 1/30 and the camouflage version uses the correct colors. The K&C version is nice; but the colors are a bit light IMO. The TCS version is oversize.
