Hi all, recently took a small gamble with odering the K&C Opel Ambulance, got to say I am very impressed with it, the weathering, detail are all very well done, and in my honest opinion I believe it goes very nicely with my First Legion troops, I'll post some other pics of this TM Terrain diorama with medical evac. station and Ambulance when I can get a free moment.

Looks very good, Sammy! I've always wondered how well King & Country armor would fit with First Legion soldiers. Thought about trying to blend in a few of their armor pieces with my First Legion WWII collection.

Thanks Cameron, I'm certainly not going to say all K&C armor fits well with First Legion, but if you do your homework, and pick your battles sort of speak :) you can certainly mix and match here and there.

Many thanks Sammy for posting that great pic of our Opel Ambulance with those very good First Legion figures!
Actually I believe quite a number of our vehicles would work well with FL figures as well as several other WW2 makers' pieces.
I will post some suitable suggestions pix next.
Best wishes and happy collecting! Andy.

Yes I was taken with this Ambulance as well and looks excellent in your scene. Can recommend the 251 Halftrack Ambulance from K&C as well. This vehicle would compliment your dio still further. Can post pictures of it if you need. Robin.

Hi Guys,

As promised here are a range of K&C German vehicles I think would work well with other makers… What’d you think…?

Best wishes and happy collecting!
Andy

Thanks Andy and Robin, Would love to see your 251 if you have the time Robin.

Thanks for allowing me to post Sammy, not as good as yours, but that maybe because i churn these out every week and do not try hard enough.
Robin.

What a fantastic 'thread' (thanks again Sammy for starting the ball rolling) and congratulations to both Robin and Tom for adding to it with such great displays!

It really gives me and our team here in HK a tremendous 'buzz' to see what collectors do with our work... You guys give so much to the hobby and this forum with your talent, enthusiasm and sheer fun and enjoyment of collecting...Very well done lads!

And all the best to one and all, Andy.

Thanks for posting Robin and Tom!!!! both of you have awesome dioramas there as Andy said, my little dio isn't much compared to you fellows but I'll keep at it and see what I can add to it.

Andy hit it right on the head, when you have collectors that post great stuff like shown in this thread the excitement of toy soldiers and this hobby make it that much more enjoyable.

P.S. Where's Butch??? thought for sure I'd have at least one "small" joke on the thread this morn ??:)

Andy what the likelyhood of k&C making medic version of a Kublewagen?IMG_5117.JPG

The opel ambulance is one of my favorite kc pieces and looking at the pictures makes me want to buy another, maybe the camo version next time

A few more pics. now the two walking wounded are old W. Britain set, and if you look at their uniforms it matches up nicely with First Legion troop loading canister.

Hi Neil,
From previous conversations I know you love and appreciate our K&C Ambulances and medic figures...
Your suggestion of a 'medical' Kubelwagen is an excellent one and could be used in several different 'Theatres of War', if you will pardon the pun.
I really like the idea...Thanks for putting it forward.
Best wishes and happy collecting, Andy.
