N.F.L. 21-22 Season (1 Viewer)

BINGO.

Despite the Dallas kicker doing his best Hank Finkel impression, Dallas opened up a can of whoop *** on Shady Brady and Tampa, what an *** kicking from start to finish.

A complete joke Tampa got in to begin with at 8-9, they stink, had zero business being in the playoffs, Brady should just retire.

But he won't, he'll take his diminishing talents somewhere else to chase yet another ring; Las Vegas, Miami, Hell maybe even San Francisco.

He'll keep playing until they drag him off the field.

I can't see Tua coming back or playing much longer with his health issues. Miami is a playoff caliber team with a decent QB. That would be a nice fit for Brady. TN or Vegas might also work. He should have called it quits, though. Winning that one Super Bowl with the Bucs was a miracle. Should have taken the high road and gone out a champ. Instead he may go out like Elvis.

The bye week wasn't kind to the top teams last year. They both lost. I think KC takes care of business, but Philly might be in for a game.

Or not.

I guess the 2022 Giants team couldn't borrow the horseshoe the 2007 and 2011 Giants teams had up their *****.

I was hoping both of these teams could lose tonight, or a meteor strike on the stadium.

Go 49ers/Cowboys winner..........................

And if the Bills win tomorrow, they'll be gifted a trip to the SB as Mahomes has a high ankle sprain, he'll be playing on one leg next week if at all.

The Giants played like world beaters against the Vikes, but they got pasted by the Eagles. Another good reason to never bet on these games. I can't see the Niners going into Philly and winning with a rookie QB. That's going to be a good game. Yes, an ankle sprain takes a long time to heal. No way to tough it out. Mahomes isn't the same when he can't move around. The Bills don't look right to me, though. Cincy might win today. I'm sure the NFL is pulling for Cincy to avoid the dreaded neutral field game.

Here is my advice for any DC game planning the Chiefs: DON'T LET KELCE BEAT YOU. Double or triple team him if necessary. Good grief. The Jags just let Mahomes and Kelce play pitch and catch over and over. He was wide open on most of those throws. Someone else has to beat you on that offense.

Gronkowski had a high ankle sprain in 2011 when the Patriots played the Giants the second time in the SB; he got it in the AFCCG, had two weeks in between games.................and was useless, basically a decoy.

Granted a TE has to run around a lot more than a QB does, but it's only one week between games and Mahomes not being able to run around is a huge advantage for the defense.

We'll see what happens in the AFCCG.

Adios Buffalo....................talk about laying an egg in the playoffs.

That "championship" window people claim Buffalo is in is closing rapidly; Allen's cap hit goes from 24 mil to 40 mil.............so more key players will be cut loose/not resigned.

Gee, what a shame.

Allen looked awful. Have the Bills never played in winter weather? I thought I was watching my Rams play in that snow. Cincy is a well-coached team. No superstars on that D and they play lights out. They are going to give KC fits with an injured Mahomes.

The Eagles must be sitting back and enjoying Dallas and SF beating up on each other. Teams that have played the Niners are an incredible 0-15 in the following game. Not a good sign for Dallas if they win.

Whew! On to Philly. 49ers are going to have to play better to win next Sunday.

tough game...congrats to the 49ers and their fans...can't wait for baseball...

As if things are not bad enough, I read that the Niners have 11 (count'em) draft picks this year. Even after trading several for McCaffery. They are the best run organization in the NFL. Well coached, great scouting, great moves. Any other team would have been sunk after losing their top two QBs. I still think the Eagles handle them, though.

A question for the off season is what they will do about Trey Lance: keep him or trade him. They gave up a lot for him but he’s not the future.

They backed the moving van up for Jimmy G. after last season. Not a real class act for a player who had done so much for them, but Lance is likely toast if there are any takers. I would be surprised if any other teams gives up anything of value given that they know the Niners must unload him and he hasn't exactly impressed. So they may be stuck with him. How are the Niners paying all these guys under the salary cap?

I'm going with home teams this weekend. All the talk about Mahomes must have him fired up. The Niners might blow out the Eagles but a close game goes to the angry Philly fans. A rookie QB is like raw meat to a wolverine to them.

Chiefs 30 Cincy 27

Eagles 27 Niners 24

Mahomes has lost three to Burrow. I can’t see this happening four in a row. 23-20.

The Eagles haven’t played a team like SF this year. SF 24-14.

Watching the game...it looks like the 49ers have not played a team like Philly this year...games not over yet...but it looks bleak for San Francisco...tough to win with your 4th string QB against a really complete team like Philly...San Francisco's league leading defense this year...has yielded 31 points today...can't blame that on the QB...

so I was looking at their record this year...and was really surprised at the quality of opponents they amassed a 13-4 record in regular season...not to mention their defensive accolades...they played a bunch of what George calls "tomato cans"...perhaps the easiest schedule in the entire NFL...their 17 opponents in regular season had a combined record of 120 wins and 168 loses...for a paltry 41% winning average...that's some pretty crummy teams they played...not saying they are paper lions with that defense...but they sure had an easy schedule this year...the only really good team they played was Kansas City...which they lost 44-23...

Unfortunately, with a 20+ game schedule due to NFL greed, there will be more and more of these noncompetitive playoff games with Arena League QB talent playing due to injuries. No way to win with a 4th string QB or in the case of the Niners today, no QB. It's a shame that the quality of the game has to suffer. The Niners are the best team in the NFL with any average QB.
