The battle was fought in the "Russian Steppes", dust is Ok but more grass and low bushes would make it more real in my opinion. Very good effort though. Hope your wife doesn't mind some extra dust in the house !!!!

depends on which part of the salient that the fighting was on to what the ground was like. Much of the area was quite sparse so, the pictured groundwork is acceptable especially in parts of Prokhorovka where some of the bitterest fighting was.
Nice to see people having a go at scratch built dio's IMO
