Haven't done much lately with my Crusaders, but I certainly haven't gone away. I did some rearranging of K&C figures on my "Ancient Walls" shelf diorama yesterday. I decided to make a column of Crusaders on the march towards Jerusalem. They are passing the walls of an abandoned Caravansary in order to quinch their thirst at the old well. I had a wonderful chat with Octavian (Clinton) yesterday evening and had told him about this little project of imagination. I mentioned I would try to put some pictures of it up on the forum. So, here they are Clinton.

Mike,

Those look really nice, it's good to see you creating again.

I have always loved the buildings you've purchased, they really fit in well with your collection.

The guy pulling up the water bucket, is he a K&C?

Hi Michael, always good hearing from you. The man-at-arms pulling up the water bucket is a slightly converted K&C MK047 - I simply removed the dagger from his right hand. I also use this converted figure as the "operator" for the ballista I use in my "Fall of Acre" diorama.

I thought so, I remembered you had done a conversion and was going to retrace your posts to find it, but I'm so lazy (you have a lot of posts), that I thought it would be easier to ask.

Nice work.

Mike your dioramas are excellent! I have recently bought the JG wall and two towers to make up a small fighting scene on the wall. Nothing fancy but finally something to get my crusaders out and use them a bit.

Hi Mike,
As usual, top work buddy!!! And thanks for sharing wonderful pics of your Crusaders. It was a pleasure speaking with you too. It was good fun picking your brains on diorama ideas too. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Lets talk again soon.

Best Regards

P/S Check out the new edition of K&C's collector magazine. I took the pictures for my buddy's featured waterloo diorama. We spent alot of time putting that together, but it was worth it :D

A pleasure to see your new work Mike. It is interesting to see how much mileage you are getting out of that figure conversion. It is always enjoyable to see your Crusaders.
