I think Rocky was wounded in Viet Nam but went on to a very successful career with Pittsburgh of the NFL. I think the athlete was Bob Kalsu of the Buffalo Bills, NFL. -- Al

Hi Mitch: Rocky was wounded in Vietnam and played for the Steelers when he returned I think. Like Tillman, this one played for the Bills and went into the Army.

Hi Al: You are correct. Lt. Bob Kalsu left the Bills in 1969 and was killed in a mortar attack on Alpha battery at fire support base Ripcord in 1972. Lt. Kalsu was the only professional athlete killed in Vietnam. We all need to remember him and all of our veterans on November 11th.
