My Wife and I purchased the Two JG "Zulu" and" Roman "Ranges from the lately dissappeared without a trace (!!!) Abram and Ana Simon of New Zealand. The Toolings require at this time, some repair, as there was Minor Damage caused to them during or possibly before, Shipping . We have the Masters and aim to re issue the figures (Romans and Zulus) sometime Mid Next year.
Meanwhile we go ahead to re issue a selection of ROSEDALE and MOUNTFORD items.

For Contact, our initial E mail pre web site, is chevalliermaxime799@gmail.com

We are now preparing our first online catalogue.

Good News!
I am very interested in the sets: Roman Legion "Head of Column" (Mtd Officer, Horn, 3 x standard bearers) and the 7 figure set of Legionaires in marching order. Are these the Romans you are speaking about?

I tried the email address which you nominated in December. Unfortunately, it doesn't work (I know you said it was interim) I don't know what your trading name is either, so can't do a web search.
I hope you can put me out of my misery soon!!

Dear "Bob"
Very sorry about that, I looked out for any messages found none...we had a LOT of computer issues with someone hacking the Network and they took down a LINUX and two Windows laptops. Evidently you slipped through during the event. you can have my E Mail .
It is
chevallier maxime799@gmail.com (all lower case).

Yes absolutely, I have the former John Gittins Romans. These are to 1/32 scale in size. Marching Roman Legionaries with their bagage or equipment on a "Rod" held over their shoulders and square shields.

We have a Mounted "Officer" Tribun type rider on his Horse, and the Standard bearer, there is a choice of two different head symbols for these as well (the Animal head typicaly worn on top their helmets). I am working on the Road builders and watch Post and the Drinkers Booth or "bar". The Roman Noble men and women are also available.

At this time these are unpainted castings.

The Photograph is from the previous owner in the Industry, and I have issued fresh new castings now to produce Painted Display Models for these. These are the Legionaries with the Bagage Rods.
Also Archers and Noble men and women shown. These old photos are now very old, and in the process of being replaced.

Ex JG Miniatures. ZULU CAMP or KRAAL.
We are re issuing this item, which includes the Chief Zulu "King" Ceteweo, the "Throne" the Zulu camp women, the servant women preparing the camp food on the fire, and the Zulu Warriors.
We have recovered a example of the original "resin" Zulu Kraal Huts, which we propose offering separately, after a re tool is completed. (The originals got re directed in the Post system, back to the former N Z Industry owner where they promptly vanished!!).
COLONIAL INFANTRY .

Above Under two Flags Colonialist Infantry set in the Mould tooling.

To complement the JG Zulus, we are currently offerring a set of Colonialist Infantry in the Uniform of the type worn at Isthandlwhana and the Mission Station at Rorkes Drift Natal. These are figures originaly sculpted by Jock and Ruby Coutts of Under Two Flags, which we now also own.

We always loved these casts and have many. But there are so many more and your painting is excellent. Best wishes & we'll check your site. Please keep posting.

Yes Jock and Ruby of U2F made a lot of figures. We were "sold" U2F as a range, in fact though what we got in the shippment was the "left overs" after Abram had apparently "sold" just about all Jocks Painted Display or Master figures to "customers" in Italy....like he also did the Ducal too.
We have got about thirty Lancers, and about fifty Sudana nd Colonial sets surviving as a Mould or Master from U2F.

The JG Romans, we have ALl masters, but several moulds are currently out of production, due to damage during Shipping from Taranga N Z. This seems to include several of the Marching Legionaries Right arms and some of the Noble women, Right arms again.
Snif, cant say the SIMONS were terribly honest folk....The Drinkers Bar Master is here, but needs another Mould too..

We have a number of figures, some by Rosedale and some Ex DF Grieve etc in large scale. This Mould shows the YORK HUSSAR and ZULU WARRIOR in large scale befre cleaning up the castings. We have other figures in various larger scales.

Including Sergeant Major GOODMAN of the London Scotish Volunteers. NB These Models are high on Metal content, heavy and will alas be more expensive, though issued in Limited Edition format.

Sergeant Major GOODMAN of the London Scotish Volunteers. Wonderfuly painted Figure from the private collection of Loui Massis. We now re issue and cast this Larger scale heavy figure again.
