Think your right Mitch ,just look at the detail on tank tracks front sprocket just go to show it can be done ;)

Beautiful cat on the prowl. Best zimmerit I've seen. -- Al

uksubs..

HB were, and still are, the only maker of AFV's that I could not fault. This Tiger 1 epitomizes the quality they brought to the hobby. A superb manufacturer

Great tank and very nice dio.

Does anyone know how many of these beauty's were produced?

Frank, building by Hudson and Allen?
The HB/H&A combo along with your photography equals museum quality. Very nice.

That's a great looking tank and those are great surroundings. Excellent photos as well. Thanks for posting.

Thanks guys.

It was the HB AFVs that originally drew me into the hobby and I think they still stand up pretty well.

All the background scenics are Hudson and Allen. I am waiting on some additional items so I can expand the French village scene a fair bit.

Frank,

You have the best collection of Honourbound vehicles out there, bar none.

How about some more shots of your Sturmtiger (the only HB vehicle I don't have at least one version of)?

I totally agree that they are the best polystone vehicles produced in the hobby to date, and still stand up well (although in my opinion Figarti and John Jenkins have caught them in overall quality using mixed media, including resin and metal).

I'll see if I have some time on the weekend to take some shots of the Sturmtiger.

Hi Louis i didn't know HB made a SturmTiger?I thought only NMA made them ????

Some have said there are only one but, I was told by Ana 12 were made and have tried to buy one from a guy who has one in the UK but, he will not sell and, he is not really a WWII collector as such!!!!! so, there is more than one. Very nice bits of kit.

I would say that I don't think IMO that JJD or figarti et al have got anywhere near what HB brought out. Though its all down to personal choice

Best Tiger I have ever seen. I wish I had one of these HB gems...and that they'd start producing AFV's again. (I do have some of their figure sets, BTW and they are excellent.) Great photography Frank, as always. This champion of all Tigers really POPS w/ the H & A building and scenics. Thanks for sharing the pics. This Tiger is simply unmatched.

Toysoldiersmarket a store in ottawa Canada
has one in stock , the winter one

I think those HB Tigers were all custom made if I remember correctly.....??? Gold edition????..I almost went for the Winter Tiger but at $375 I thought it was a bit too pricey at the time...I would love to see someone do Tiger Tanks to this level of quality...I do own the HB Winter Panther and the Winter Jadgpanther both very well done and at a very fair price.. before prices went crazy.

They set the standard and their Tiger still has no equal.
