Attached are some photographs of every single wood, metal and/or resin Allied vehicle King & Country produced from 1994 through 1999, all on a custom diorama base produced by K&C, displayed with all of the K&C "Back-Lot" buildings, all also produced during this period. The vehicles include a 30 Corps. British Sherman Tank, a Wood version of the later Iwo Jima (IWJ11) Sherman tank (one of 5 made), a wood and metal Cromwell Tank, a wood and metal Bren Gun Carrier, a wood Quad, Gun and Limber, a wood and metal (extremely rare) Para Jeep, the three Arnhem Metal Jeeps (Attack, Para and Ambulance), the Arnhem supply trailer, and a resin and metal prototype (1 of 2 made) Bedford QL Radio Command Vehicle:

Louis,
Fantastic as ever! Love all of the old vehicles, they are truly unique
Tom

Love seeing all the old sets.

I'll try to dig out all the vintage (mid-1990's) K&C wood, metal and resin German vehicles and post some photos of them on a different K&C diorama in my collection, with the old K&C WS figures (WS01-WS20). That would include (of course) a wood Tiger Tank, a wood Stug III, a wood Stug IV, a wood Hanomag, a resin and metal Jagdpanther, a resin and metal SdKfz 234 8 Rad (8 wheeled armored car), and a resin and metal Kubelwagon.

I also have some extremely rare (production rarely exceeded 10-15 vehicles) early wood, metal and resin Allied and German vehicles in desert markings I can photograph and post on a couple of K&C desert dioramas.

Finally, there are also 4 very early production (kind of primitive) wood vehicles made in China, rather than the Philippines or Hong Kong, a Tiger (100 made), a Panther (100 made), and a Shermans in British and American markings (50 of each). I'll try to take and post some photographs of these as well, with the early glossy K&C WWII figures that were sold in the early 1990's.

Thanks Louis. That would be great to see.

Next up, early desert vehicles, several of which are one of a kind: The original one of a kind "shot up" 8th Army Staff Car custom made by K&C for the diorama made for the original Afrika Corps Release (sold to me with the diorama, on which is is depicted), the one of a kind short barreled Panzer IV made for the release of the first Rommel figure (sold to me by Andy when I asked if the Afrika Corps. Panzer IV in the advertisement would be released), a one of a kind 8th Army Priest (sold to me by K&C when they chose not to put it in production), a prototype of a Bedford Troop Transport Lorry (one of 2 8th Army Prototypes made, there were also Dunkirk and RAF prototypes made of this vehicle), an Afrika Corps Resin and Metal Hanomag (much rarer than the wood and metal version, 5 made), an 8th Army Bren Gun Carrier (one of 5 ever made), an 8th Army Quad, 25 Lb. Field Gun and Limber (one of 5 made), and the original wood, resin and metal Long Range Desert Group Chevy 100 CWT Truck, and the metal SAS Attack Jeep:

When I originally saw the desert truck and jeep in a brochure in the 1990's, I felt like a kid looking at a Sears Christmas catalog. Very awesome.^&cool

Re: Vintage K&C Wood, Metal and Resin Allied Armorc

Now here are most of the German wood, metal and resin vehicles: A very rare resin and metal 8-Ton Halftrack pulling an 88mm Canon, a wood and metal Stug III, a resin and metal Jagdpanther, a wood and metal Hanomag, a resin and metal SdKfz 234 8 Rad 8 wheeled armored car, and a resin and metal Hanomag, most depicted on a custom Normandy Bocage Diorama designed by Andy Neilson and built by Gordon Neilson back in 1999:

Thanks for posting these very valuable early wooden vehicles, Louis.

But according to K&C's Collectors magazine, Toy Soldier Picture Books V1 and your previous thread about the 3 early wooden tanks(Tiger, Panther and Sherman) which were made in China, their production run is 50 each rather than 100. Unless further information was received to reveal the actual production run is 100 and not 50, I assume 50 for each type is correct.

Anyway, if you don't mind could you please provide more photos of the wooden Tigers and Panthers?

Like the photos you took from the B17, hmm, next time will be inside a B29!!!

Best regards.

Many thanks Louis for posting those pix of your unique collection...It brought back many happy memories!

Now, as regards production numbers of the original wooden, hand-carved 'Tigers', 'Panthers' and 'Shermans' made in China....Just 50 of each were built for a total of 150 models.

Hope this helps, Andy.
