Haggis isn't that bad really, even if it's out of a can, as long as it's warmed ! {sm4}

Yes, so I've hear with Scottish cooking !
Such as the correct way to make your Breakfast Porridge, is to prepare it the previous night or three and to have poured your said prepared porridge into a wooden draw to set overnight, or longer, and cut chunks of out as needed in the morning or whenever that year.
Instructions, doesn't say whether you should make sure the draw is clean or one with bits of fluff wafting about, and being a fussy Sassenach I prefer mine clean. Mmmmm, Yum ! {sm4}

No doubt the French or Italians will come out with a sauce to make it more flavoursome or the Germans or Dutch to make it more filling !
But if anyone has a nicer tasting recipe, please contribute ! ^&grin

The Goodies did some funny scottish episodes.

The episode that's always stuck in my mind is the take off, of Kung Fu, with the Yorkshire martial art of Ecky Thump !^&grin

I actually quite like Haggis. My favorite is in Balmoral chicken (chicken stuffed with Haggis, served with whiskey sauce).

Yeah that's a goodie, also like Kitten Kong and the Rolf Harris plague episode. Not to mention the South African episode, I said not to mention it ^&grin

Watching the nature video, i believe they are Lowland Haggis, as their legs are all the same length, whereas the Highland Haggis have their legs different lengths,depending on which side the mountain they breed and are born, which allows them to run faster across the mountain slopes to evade their main predator, see below. The Haggis is thought to be have come over in the Ice age and was closely related to the Donor Kababepuss, which ofcourse died out due to it being easy to catch, as they were all born with a big metal pole through their bodies and cannot get away because of the weight.

First mention of the receipt for Haggis was in 1430, in Lancashire ENGLAND.
