We saw it last night and recommend it. Takes place during WW I and although the story is not completely realistic, the scenery and some of the planes do, although I'm no expert.

Just saw it, good back story to it. What's not to like about an attractive woman in a sexy outfit with weapons. Will be ordering the DVD. Robin.

What's not to like about Amazons taking on WW1 Germans in a beach battle.

I am not really a super hero type of guy as have no idea who is DC or Marvel. However liked the WW1 aspect to this one.

However the movie does raise an important issue. If there is an island full of Amazons cut off from the rest of the world, with no males around, then where do the baby Amazons come from ?

Can see why has been popular with female audiences.

Agree, WW1 Germans landing on the Amazonian beach was rather fun!
Also Diana storming across No Man's Land...I seriously have to se that scene again....very well filmed!

I was even more impressed when my daughter told me Gal Gadot was 5 months pregnant when making the movie.

I'm a big fan of Superhero movies, but couldn't get into this one, even found it boring for the first hour or so. There were plenty of scantily clad Amazons, sadly most were plain looking butch types, but as there are no men on the island, I guess that figures. More plot holes than a sieve, for example if a guys steals your plane, why chase him with a ship...really??? Maybe I would have a more favourably opinion if I didn't watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2 One hour before it.
