I fear this is all too likely to degenerate into a Musical As for the Heid,I believe "fled" may more aptly read "withdrawn in disgust",which may have been foreshadowed in his "I shall go into the North..."...and play D&D... byline-I do hope he's back by Spring (which is about when I expect to have collected and read all Nigel Tranter's works and will be fidgetting ).I can't seem to recall what the preoccupied,oblivious bookish kids were called-assuredly not "popular"and I care not any part of a rat whatsoeverob

I had my share of run ins with Harry when i first joined this forum, but in time i come to appreciate his views, wit and sense of humour.

not everybody's cup of tea of course, but i thought its unfortunate that he no longer post here anymore.

TF seems a bit dull without his posts.
