Anyone know whats the release date of the new DAK and the Civil war figures . The confed cannon looks great! :) Any word on whats next with the civil war line. Any zouves comming?

I may be wrong here but i thought i read somewhere that it was May/June for the DAK.

...Right mid May is our release date for both DAK an ACW. The factory is in production as we speak. The current release catalog is a model of what our rather aggressive release schedule will be. So the next catalog will be distributed in July, this will include another two full figures and an exciting bevy of 60mm, 54mm, zouves...hmmmm...not a bad idea:)

Thanks to everyone for all of your enthusiasm and support as we get these lines off the ground. Also I would encourage folks to register on the site so they'll get our early bird mailers!

I don't suppose you have an news on what UK shows you might be attending or any possible UK suppliers?Would appreciate any info you can give, thanks

Rob

I will be at the New Jersey Hackensack show most definately. Also I believe I will try my very best to make the June UK show but no promises.

Thank you,if you can make it in June it will be nice to meet you and see your product first hand.

Who else thinks Collectors showcase are starting to show real promise and could go onto be one of the front runners in our hobby?

Well we've only seen pictures really plus the DAK range i saw at London in December. I liked the 88 a lot but the figures didn't do it for me. They might have improved but I look forward to seeing them in June or whenever.

Yeah shame they won't be there on the 31st.2 Weeks to go mate!

Hi Easy,

I've seen the Flak 88 (DAK) color scheme in person at the West Coaster a few weeks ago. I was a little disappointed since it was more like a two piece model without the elevation movement in the gun nor any towing rig found on so many models in the past including KC's 88 release a few years ago. It was a prototype resin piece that may look better in metal when it is finally released in May.

The Panzer II, Motorcycle team and Kettingrad looked great!

Re: 88mm Gun

Thats funny everyone at the show was absolutely blown away by the detail on the 88. In fact our pre-orders are double on the gun, I guess there has never been an 88mm modeled directly from the actual plans before. If we added the towing rig we would have added 45 dollars to the cost of the gun, I wanted to be so carfeul to keep everything affordable, prices for manufacturing are going up as the Chinese economy gains traction. But thanks for the kudos on everything else. Our pre-orders are incredible, thanks guys!

I would venture to say that the pre-orders are high because there is no 88 right now available to purchase in 1/30 scale. I'm quite interested to see what it looks like.

Me too.The K&C remianing 88's are fetching a fair old price.

:) Hello Guys! Why don't we give Collector's Showcase a Fair Chance in coming into the Toy Collectors World! I told you that this Company has a Lot-of-Potential; and let him make a Whole Lot of AK's, British 8th Army,Fallschrimjaeger,ETC! Whatever Andy doesn't want to Make, hopefully CS is going to Make what we suggest to him? The 88th Gun, could be used in the Desert N. Africa, as a Stationery Gun, or become Mobile? Its the Choice of who wants what, to Collect! I don't knock Andy, but I also like CS Soldier Figure's, as well! And hope he will do much MORE Infantry, Artillery, and Vehicles! Next Gun hopefully, will be 150MM-15CM-( HEAVY ) Field Howitzer for the Desert, PAK 40, Nebelwerfer? MG Team, Mortar Team? Thanks Guys! Time is of Essence! John Gambale!

It will certainly be interesting to see how they progress and their first AK releases shows a lot of promise. It will also be interesting to see how much they take from views on this forum,as to whether they will answer wish lists is a whole different ball game!;)

Rob

There's a lot of talk in respect of their AK line but I must say that their ACW line is quite imposing. The pose of the figures are more realistic and much better done than their Tobruk range and the faces just looked like human faces. The confederate artillery set is a real beauty. I love the way they done it. We almost can imagine that the figures will come to life at every second (at least you get the idea of what I mean!).

Pierre.
